Sharon was awesome! She made me feel at home right away. She was accommodating, helpful, cheerful, and genuinely interested in making sure I had a pleasant visit to New York. At no time did I feel uncomfortable about sharing the common areas, and I felt very comfortable about the arrangement at all times.
The sleeping quarters were spacious, very private with its own bathroom. The bed and linens were extremely comfortable. The entire apartment was clean, tastefully decorated, and just a great space to be in. Trust me, this place is such a bargain and Sharon is so cool, don’t even hesitate!
Sharon is a wonderful host, very friendly and responsive and also gives you as much privacy as you want. Her home is just as pictured and described; clean, welcoming, comfortable, and spacious. I would definitely recommend Sharon and her home.!
I found this duplex to be just as advertised. Check-in with Sharon was smooth and quick. The bed is comfy and the bathrooms were clean with hot water 24/7. Everything is clean and tidy, making it a pleasurable experience overall. Last but not least, the place is in a quiet (and safe) area with quick access to the metro (Franklin Station). I warmly recommend this budget-friendly duplex for a good NYC/Brooklyn experience.
Sharon and her mother Coleen were so warm and caring people that I really enjoyed NYC. The room and Appartement was nice, quite und clean - and exactly as shown on the pictures. I recommend this place and the hosts without any doubts. Thank you!
Our stay at Sharon's place was perfect. From the beginning Sharon communicated clearly with us and answered any questions we had in a timely manner. She was a gracious host and made us feel very welcomed into her home.
The location was also great. Clean, safe, easy access to the subway, and overall quiet. This was my first time in NYC and using Airbnb and I could not have found a better location. The description is exactly as described. The room is spacious and modern and the apartment overall was very clean and comfortable. The price was perfect and I highly recommend booking a stay at Sharon's!
As Sharon was travelling I have been in contact with her mother who was very nice. The flat was clean, quite and it's close to the metro Classon (G line). On the other side of the street there is a cool bar (Bedford Hill) where you can have a nice breakfast (muffins there are so good!). Brooklyn is a nice area and I absolutly recommend Sharon's room
I has a wonderful stay at Sharon's lovely apartment. The room is located in the basement of the home. The room is very clean, spacious, with AC/heater unit, great lighting, comfortable bed, and a half bathroom. Although I never got to meet Sharon, I instantly felt safe and comfortable. The "C" train is very easy to get to as it is only a few block away. Many nights I was getting in late at night and I never felt unsafe to be walking alone from the train to her home. Sharon maintained great communication with me and arranged for her mother to check me in and out of her place. Her mother is a very lovely person. Another huge plus is all the street parking available. I drove my car in and had no problem finding parking on her street.
Hey there Air BnB fam. So excited to meet you and hear all about what brings you to NYC. My goal is to make your stay comfortable, enjoyable, and show you why you should love NYC as much as I do!
As for me, so we don't feel like total strangers upon 1st meet, here's a little of my world: I work as a registered nurse at one if NYC's top rated hospitals. For fun, I explore the different arenas of dance, SALSA being my #1 addiction at the moment. I have performed at different showcases, and traveled abroad to Cuba to study Afro-cuban styles. I love cultural exchanges, anything have to do with the arts, freedom of expression, free thinking, and women empowerment. Avid traveler- have traveled to Spain, Israel, Ghana, Peru,PR, DR twice, Cuba twice (1st time for college, 2nd dance program)....much more to hit on the buckletlist (Brazil and thailand #1). 5 things I can't live without are seafood, dance, knowledge/books, my mom (more of a bestie than a parent) and friends.
2 life mottos I live by:
~ Your growth is limitless, forever seek knowledge never stop learning!
~Love without depending, Speak without offending, Listen without defending, Live without pretending.
