  • Great host, very nice place and neighborhood. You get lots of privacy.

  • Sharon is indeed "the hostess with the mostess". Her duplex was everything promised and then some--fashionable, comfortable, and fastidiously clean. Sharon is warm, inviting, and friendly. I hope to return soon to explore the neighborhood a bit more.

I stayed at Sharon's while attending a writers conference. For you writers out there, this is the perfect place to work on that great American novel. The suite, which consists of a huge bedroom, half bath, and walk-in closet, is on the lower level, separated from the rest of the unit by a flight of stairs and two doors. Lots of privacy for the wailing and gnashing of teeth that goes with the writing gig. It is quiet. It offers high speed internet, a desk stocked with pens, etc., and a queen size bed to organize pages on--you writers know what I'm talking about.

When you tire of all that revising, there's the nearby restaurants and coffee houses to explore.

  • We loved the place! Perfect location, close enough to the trains that getting into Manhattan was easy - but far enough from downtown that it's quiet!
We didn't spend a lot of time in the space, but it was a great place to come home too! Comfortable bed, lots of space - it was great having a closet to hang clothes in rather than living out of a suitcase for the week!
Sharon was a great host, helped us out with directions from the airport to her place, and was warm and welcoming throughout our stay! Thanks again! :D

  • It was also our first bnb expirience and it won´t be our last! Sharon is a really excellent, helpful and friendly host and we felt nearly like at home, really very well. The room where we stayed and everything else was amazing, very tidy and also quiet. We slept well every night so we could start rested to explore New York City.
To come to Manhatten was easy and fast. Everything was great, it couldn´t be better!
Thank you, Sharon, for your big hospitality...:-)

  • Sharon is an amazing host and the place was fantastic! We weren't there much with our busy schedule, but when we came home, it was always quaint and hospitable. It felt like I hadn't left my home and that the city came to me. That's a good start to a vacation.

Our first airBnB experience, and because of Sharon, it definitely won't be our last.

  • stayed with Sharon in February. It was my first Airbnb experience and thanks to Sharon it will not be my last one. Sharon's home is beautiful and clean ( the pictures do not do it justice). Sharon is probably one of the most friendly New Yorkers I have ever met and she is extremely helpful. I am sure I will be staying with her again :)

  • Sharon is so helpful and kind. The room is huge downstairs and very private and the storage space is also big. The bed was very comfortable and the room was warm. Wifi connection was strong and the flat is near the subway station. Bars, supermarkets and restaurants are also close by. I would happily stay with Sharon again.

Hey there Air BnB fam. So excited to meet you and hear all about what brings you to NYC. My goal is to make your stay comfortable, enjoyable, and show you why you should love NYC as much as I do! As for me, so we don't feel like total strangers upon 1st meet, here's a little of my world: I work as a registered nurse at one if NYC's top rated hospitals. For fun, I explore the different arenas of dance, SALSA being my #1 addiction at the moment. I have performed at different showcases, and traveled abroad to Cuba to study Afro-cuban styles. I love cultural exchanges, anything have to do with the arts, freedom of expression, free thinking, and women empowerment. Avid traveler- have traveled to Spain, Israel, Ghana, Peru,PR, DR twice, Cuba twice (1st time for college, 2nd dance program)....much more to hit on the buckletlist (Brazil and thailand #1). 5 things I can't live without are seafood, dance, knowledge/books, my mom (more of a bestie than a parent) and friends. 2 life mottos I live by: ~ Your growth is limitless, forever seek knowledge never stop learning! ~Love without depending, Speak without offending, Listen without defending, Live without pretending.
