Great location, (central to one of the best districts in Tokyo), warm, cozy and with the right amenities in snowy Tokyo!!!
Thank you for having us. We really enjoyed our stay.
Despite being snowed in due to the crazy blizzard our first night (half of our group was snowed in at Narita for almost 24 hours!) we had a pleasant stay and the apartment was just as listed! Enough space for 6 and cozy enough, fit right in our budget and was super central and accessible. Less than a 10 minute walk to Roppongi, which allowed my friends and I go enjoy the nightlife and walk back to the apartment in the wee hours of the morning. I don't know how we would have survived without the pocket wifi, best amenity for sure. Not sure if it was due to the blizzard and the heaters being on, but one of the walls in the tatami room started sweating... the bathroom sufficed, although the wooden planks would slip around when the space was wet. Also the bathroom would get super cold, but really no other complaints. Easy in and out, for the price and location I would definitely recommend!
What a delightful, cosy apartment! Great location - loved the washing machine, shower and heating. Our teenage sons were seriously in love with the mobile wi-fi - this was a godsend helping us use (website hidden) maps to find our way around. Beds were soooo comfy and the boys enjoyed sleeping on the tatami mats. By Aussie standards the apartment was small, but we soon adjusted. Nicks communication, prompt email and efficiency were just sensational! Can not speak highly enough of his efforts to ensure we had what we needed. Sujos for breakfast just down the road on our first day was spectacular, but a bit pricey - worth it! A wonderful 5 nights - can highly recommend. It is not the Ritz but comfy and warm - well located.
A great central place in Roppongi. Right next to Roppongi Itchome station and a quick station right to harajuku / shibuya etc. The place does come with 2 heaters but it does get cold in the winter time if it's not on. The bathroom was not the ritz but water pressure was great and the water was steaming hot. Great value.
Great location in an old but quaint apartment building. Rooms were comfortable with plenty of sleeping space for our family of four. Didn't meet the hosts but they left ample information for us making our stay easy.
Wonderful place, very cozy, and so walkable to the nightlife of Roppongi. Would definitely stay again. Very traditional space, comfy, and pretty spacious, We rented a few apartments at once for a big group of us that were visiting Tokyo.
It can be a little hard to find on first visit, so be sure to print out a (website hidden) map first.
Nick's apartment was great. Although it was a little difficult to find the apartment since the sign didn't have the English name but we had a Japanese speaking friend with us to help us find it. It was close to the train station and close to a busy area but the neighborhood was still quiet.
The bed was really comfortable and the extra mats for the floor wasn't as bad as we thought. We slept 6 people pretty comfortably. The apartment was also very clean. I would definitely recommend this to anybody looking for a place to stay.
Great find!!! The apartment was ridiculously convenient to both Roppongi as well as 2 subway stations, it was large (we had 4 people, 1 couple and 2 single males and we had plenty of room) and everything was super clean! The kitchen came in handy one morning when we decided to cook breakfast. The host answers emails amazingly fast!!! Bottom line, when we go back to Tokyo I'll be trying to reserve this apartment again.
Their apartment in Roppongi was just as described. There was plenty of room for the 5 of us and all our luggage. The location was perfect, just a 3 minute walk from the Metro station.
Upon arriving, everything was as expected and all appliances and accommodations were provided. We loved staying here and would come back and stay again in a heartbeat. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a place to stay in Tokyo. It's in a quiet neighborhood, but a short train/subway ride from all of Tokyo's attractions. We will always have fond memories of this apartment in Roppongi and we hope to visit again soon.
Thanks again for having us. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
The apartment was well equipped (mobile wifi!!, fridge, iron, hair dryer, washing machine & wash powder, pots, pans, kettle, salt, sugar, cooking oil, etc) and the location was good. It is just 5 mins walk to the nearest subway and another subway line is just 15mins walk away. There is also a 24 hours convenience store just across the road (7 mins walk). My family took a 20mins walk to the famous roppongi district and the whole journey was fairly safe when we were walking back around 10pm at night. There are a few famous eateries nearby and the host also recommended a few places to go for food which was good.
The apartment was just right in size for my family of 5 adults. It was great that there is a dining area where we could sit and have homemade breakfast before we head out to the busy city of Tokyo. The mobile internet wifi was very useful too.
The downside was the whole apartment has only 1 air conditioning unit, so it does get hot/cold in the summer or winter months. During my stay, it was not a problem as it was autumn with awesome weather. Also, the bathroom is tiled and no slippers were provided so it was really cold when we were there.
Overall, I would highly recommend this apartment for any family/friends visiting Tokyo. Will definitely book this apartment again in the future.
