Located in the heart of Menlo Park and just a 5 minute walk to Menlo Park Caltrain Station, restaurants and groceries. Downtown Palo Alto and Stanford are also really accessible from the home.
Nealon Park and Burgess Park are super close. The Guild Theatre hosts midnight screenings of the Rocky Horror Shows on the first Saturday of every month. Café Borrone has an excellent menu and atmosphere. Downtown Menlo is stacked with good eats and great grocers like Trader Joe's and Draeger's. Other establishments that are less than a block away include: Safeway, Starbucks, CVS & BevMo.
Palo Alto: You are less than half a mile from Stanford Mall and only one mile away from downtown Palo Alto! Stanford University and Palo Alto Town & Country Plaza is just an arm’s reach away from there.
The location is ideal in terms of walkability. Caltrain is conveniently located on the other side of El Camino.
Too tired to walk? We have bikes you can use that will swiftly get you there in less than 10 minutes.

Respectful Housing for Women
Females in a separate room. If you'd like to stay in the girls' room, please check with me on availability before reserving. If you don't have a preference, then just make your reservation.
The Airbnb cleaning fee is to make sure you have a clean bed upon arrival and not to clean up after you. All spaces are shared, so please be mindful of picking up after yourself. If you're a longer term guest, remember to use one bath towel and wash it with your own load of laundry.

3. Let me know your duration of stay and estimated time of arrival on your check in date.
Menlo Park has an ordinance on overnight parking (prohibited between 2am-5am). You may apply at the city for a permit. Ask me in advance if I have space in the driveway. Transportation is really convenient and we welcome you to park your bicycle in the garage.

Awesome place to stay, great people, great neighborhood and close to everything you need... Would definitely recommend and will stay here again on my next visit to Menlo Park!
Great experience at this HackerHome. Opportunity to meet and work with some smart and interesting people. Location ideal also.
Fabulous place, great people and a warm host. Vic has managed to create a melting pot for people from all over the world (specially start-up enthusiasts).
With the Caltrain station and a 24X7 supermarket just a short trot away, the location is perfect!
This was by 3rd stay at the hacker home, and I'll surely be back.
Vic was a great host. He replied promptly on all questions prior to arrival. HackerHome is a great place to stay. It is clean and well organized. Everybody gets two spacious drawers, and some space in a closet. Every bunk bed has there own double extension cord - perfect to charge your phone and tablet at night. HackerHome is close to CalTrain, Stanford U and the mall. Safeway, CVS and some small businesses are just one block away. This is probably the best place to stay if you are in Silicon Valley for a startup or intership etc. You will meet all kinds of interesting people. Use earplugs (provided) or bring your noise cancelling earphones if you want to work without disturbance. Otherwise there will always someone to chat or exchange ideas. Will stay again there for sure!
I really enjoyed staying at the hacker home in Menlo park. Vic is super kind and often organized parties, which is fun and you can meet a lot of new people.
If I have a chance to go to California I will definitely stay there again. Thank you so much Vic!!!
Communication was good prior to and during the stay, and Vic was friendly and helpful. Location is good with walking distance to Caltrain, safeway and downtown Menlo Park. Lots of interesting people staying at the house, so a good match if you are doing a startup/internship/tech. Would stay again.
Neighborhood was fantastic, transportation was easy, the home was very nice, the hosts fantastic -- overall a very, very good experience.
