Respectful Housing for Women
Females in a separate room. If you'd like to stay in the girls' room, please check with me on availability before reserving. If you don't have a preference, then just make your reservation.
The Airbnb cleaning fee is to make sure you have a clean bed upon arrival and not to clean up after you. All spaces are shared, so please be mindful of picking up after yourself. If you're a longer term guest, remember to use one bath towel and wash it with your own load of laundry.

Menlo Park has an ordinance on overnight parking (prohibited between 2am-5am). You may apply at the city for a permit. Ask me in advance if I have space in the driveway. Transportation is really convenient and we welcome you to park your bicycle in the garage.
My stay at Hacker Home Menlo Park was great, very nice people and Vic is an excellent host. Would be happy to stay there again :)
I enjoyed my stay at the Hacker Home in Menlo. It was nice to meet people who were staying in the home at the same time. The accommodations were comfortable. I appreciated having a bike to use a few times during my stay to save me the hassle of driving & paying for parking. I stayed there the first week of my job at Stanfod before I found my own place. This locations was very convenient for that reason & that it was walking distance to 2 grocery stows.
Vic is a great host, he takes care of you from the time you book until the time you leave the house. This house is perfectly located, there are lots of restaurants and points of interests nearby (Stanford Shopping Center, banks, gym, etc).
The biggest room in the house has 4 bunks so if you're a guy (girls stay in a separate room) you might be sharing the room with 7 other people. I don't have any problem with that as we all have enough space for our clothes and the room even has 2 full bathrooms, though I think it's not the same for everyone.
BBQ Sundays, chess games and ping pong tournaments are really cool. People are more likely to have some beers and watch some movies during the evenings/nights so you don't spend much time at the room.
Definitely an awesome place if you're not concerned about privacy that much. You'll meet lots of people under 30 working on their own startups and sharing lots of insight and thoughts at any given time. It's cool I got to meet people from Austria, Germany, Brazil, India, Czech Republic, China, etc. That's why this is a HackerHome - give it a try!
Staying at Vic's Hackerhome was a really wonderful experience. You can meet people from all over the world while spending such a nice time together, talking and exchanging ideas and suggestions. I had a great time with my roommates and really enjoyed their company. I really miss them and I can say I found some of my best friends there.
The house is really big, clean and beautiful. There's a very spacious kitchen, where you can find everything you need. The bed is very comfortable and it's great having a room just for girls.
But I want to say that what makes the house so special is Vic. He has the ability to make us feel like a big family. And this is very important if you are so far away from your home country. I will never forget the atmosphere of our big dinners and barbecues. Vic is so kind and always ready to help you. He gave me suggestions that I appreciated so much. He is really a great host and a great person!
I highly suggest to stay at Vic's house and I can't wait to come back!
HackerHome is perfect place to live in Silicon Valley. The house is really clean and all the housemates are nice and fun. Moreover the HackerHome is ideally located if you want to be in the middle of everything in Palo Alto and Silicon Valley
I had a fantastic stay at HackerHome - Menlo Park in Oct/Nov 2013. The hosts were very helpful and hospitable, going out of their way to make sure all the guests were welcome and had everything they needed for a comfortable stay. The house was a great environment, the other guests friendly. Plenty of opportunity to socialize or get work done as required. I recommend a stay at HackerHome. (HackerHome is particularly convenient if visiting Stanford!)
Great place and community! Vic and Vinh are great hosts! I certainly recommend Hacker Home for new IT employees and students in the bay area.
(I stayed at the MENLO PARK hacker home)
Vic and Vinh are awesome!
They keep making sure that everybody feels at home and organize dinners and BBQ quite often :)
I stayed at the Girls Room which has a private bathroom&shower only for girls, as well as plenty of storage place such as closets and drawers.
During the nights it was very quiet so I wouldn't worry about that.
The Hacker Home is a great place to meet new people from around the world!
I stayed this house for 4 weeks.
Vic and people in Hucker Home was so kind!!
The location is also good and close to a cal train station.
They often hold a party once a week.
It was grate and exciting experience.
I loved to stay at hackerhome : awesome people and great atmosphere! I actually made friends there. =)
Besides that, the place is close to groceries stores and public transportations (shuttles to go to Stanford, Caltrain, Buses...).
