About this listing
Welcome to SF! I have a VERY SMALL one bedroom apartment right in the middle of the city to SHARE with you. Walk out the front door and you have access to lots of SF only stuff. Think of it as crashing at your brother's place.
1 person only, no exceptions, the place is very small. Thanks.
Clean, quiet, simple, safe and close to everything. Nothing fancy, no frills, no view, old building, not much sunlight (great for napping). The apartment consists of 2 rooms, a front/living room where the kitchen also is, a bedroom, and a bathroom.
You get the bedroom (11x8 ft), full size bed (with a door that closes and locks), I use and sleep in the front room (18x8) where I am very comfortable. I put up a privacy screen when I am sleeping. You will cross the front room to reach the bathroom.
Bedroom has a closet/armoire entirely for your use, we share the bathroom. Clean linens and towels provided.
Microwave only, so this isn't a place to cook meals. The gas stove needs to be replaced. Lots of eating options all around. Bakery is directly downstairs and is outstanding. You will be able to hear both the foghorn at night in the bedroom if it is foggy at the Golden Gate Bridge (I find it soothing) and the whirring of the cable car line -- welcome to SF!
Hair dryer, iron, small desk fan for cooling or white noise, and humidifier available.
Guest has access to everything. You get keys to come and go as you please. Don't worry about waking me if I'm sleeping, I won't hear you. And I'll probably be out later than you will. I work until 2 am several times a week and get up by 7:30 am.

I am out during the day (after 10 am) and most evenings.
If I'm not going to be around for the night I will let you know so you can have the place to yourself.
