Detached family home situated in a quiet area of Gatineau, a Quebec town just over the river from Ottawa, Canada's Capital. A bilingual and friendly couple will welcome you. The room is in the basement, and it has an ensuite bathroom with a shower. A private reading room is nearby, and the washer and dryer are also located close. The kithchen is on the ground floor, and you'll find the BBQ and the patio furniture in the backyard.
Family atmosphere, with three young children full of life, but the room is quiet and the only one located in the basement. A TV and well-stocked libraries are not far away.
Near the house, there's a road that leads directly to the Champlain Bridge and the City of Ottawa, making the capital of Canada less than a dozen minutes from the house. Various bikepaths also meanders around the place. Public transport available.
The surrounding streets, in this quiet and safe neighborhood, are mainly residential. A few blocks away, however, you'll conveniently find a major commercial area, with a lot of services, shops, professional offices, malls and shopping centers.

Pascaline was a lovely host to my friend, myself and my pooch. The space was very clean and well decorated, exceeding our expectations.
Her family was very welcoming, they gave us directions and advice on what to see and where to go. The kids loved my pooch and played with him a lot :)
We had warm coffee to wake us up every day and got to practise French, which was great!
Highly recommend for a quiet and relaxing vacation, within walking distance to the Aylmer marina.
Young mother of three, married, very friendly, smiling and simple. I love to receive and share great experiences with my friends. I am very open to the world and like to discover different cultures. For me, every part of life is precious. I appreciate the little things and, most importantly, am grateful for what I have. I love good food and am very concerned about health and environment issues. I also like to travel, and the Charlevoix region is the destination I prefer the most. It's a really nice area, with beautiful scenery, a place that I enjoy to visit every two years with my family. It's "my little corner of paradise".
