The Space

Beautiful and elegant apartment located in the quiet heart of Campo de Fiori in a building of historic value originally build in the XII century . Recently finely renovated with original terracotta floor, the apartment is on two floors and has a terrace facing an internal courtyard
on the first level and a large balcony on the second level. The apartment consists of a living room on the first level with a furnished terrace, kitchenette and small bathroom. At the second level is located the bedroom which has a sunny balcony leading of it and a (email hidden)e apartment is equipped with air conditioned, digital flat TV, WIFI, washing machine, dishwasher and a Nespresso coffee machine for amazing Italian breakfast.
The building is equipped with an elevator.
The area of Campo De’ Fiori is one of the nicest in the old center of Rome and it's famous for its fascinating ancient and colorful market, the great choice of traditional restaurants and lively cafes and the art galleries and charming shops. The apartment location is perfect for travelling on foot to all the major sites as like Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Largo Argentina, Colosseum, the Roman Forum, Via Del Corso, Piazza d’Spagna, Trevi Fountain and Trastevere and other archeological sites, museum and monuments.

  • Nadia answered all our questions regarding our holiday in Rome. She put us in contact with a taxi firm who picked us up from the airport and collected us from the apartment when we left. There is a porter attached to the apartment block who is extremely helpful. The apartment is lovely, spacious and with a pleasant terrace, although the terrace area is shared with neighbours. Most days we had the outside area to ourselves. In our opinion the neighbourhood around Campo dei Fiori is one of the best in Rome: loads of lanes to explore, great for shopping: food, leather and clothes. It is central to all the great sites in Rome, you can walk to most if it is not too hot. Oh and the wifi is super efficient, as is the air conditioning. We would highly recommend this apartment.

  • Excellent apartment near Campo di Fiori! My wife and I loved the spacious interior, the bedroom on the 2nd floor, and the amenities offered. Nadia has really set this place up to be a 'home away from home', rather than just another apartment.
The exterior balcony is a great touch... unfortunately we didn't have a chance to use it since it rained most of the time we were in Rome.
The only minor issue we had was that one of the air conditioning units was dripping water. Other than that, no issues at all. Joel was very helpful during check-in and we loved the private, 'homey' feel of Nadia's apartment. A short 2-min walk to Campo di Fiori, Piazza Navona, and the Pantheon. We took the bus to the Vatican and the Colosseum.... all very convenient.
We would absolutely recommend Nadia's apartment!

  • I had a wonderful three+ week stay in Nadiia's lovely Campo dei Fiori Terrace apartment. I loved it from the moment I ducked through the small door cut into the huge medieval street door on via dei Chiavari. The atmosphere of the old convent prevails in the entry to the building and the stone staircase. Of course, there is an elevator for your convenience.

Nadia's apartment is beautifully restored and tastefully decorated, with great attention to detail, from the quality of the glasses/dishes, furnishings, bathroom tiles, bed linens to the strong WiFi, more than generous bedroom closets, lovely terra cotta floors...

I loved the light streaming through the windows facing the terrace and appreciated the roll down shades for privacy and light control for the hottest part of the day. The bedroom balcony doors lead to a long balcony, with hanging flower pots and the washing machine in it's little sheltered shed.

Though the kitchen is small, it is perfectly set-up with a combo oven/microwave, cook top and dish washer. I prepared several meals in that compact but practical space.

The location of the apartment, on via dei Chiavari, couldn't be more central for touring Roma. If you are a walker, it is ideal, as you are in the center of centro storico! I took advantage of early morning walks to visit/re-visit heavily touristed sites - St. Peter's Basilica, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Aventine hill to view St Peter's through the keyhole, Pantheon, meander through Trastevere, etc. - before the hordes descended. Quality restaurants and caffe's abound in this neighborhood as well.

Nadia is an attentive and delightful host, who has gone out of her way to help make your stay in her apartment a pleasant and positive experience. I've been renting various apartments throughout Roma over the last decade, and would have to say, Nadia's rental is the best! I've never felt so at home in Roma!!!

  • Excellent location, quiet, comfortable and clean. Great welcome and owner attentive. Some emergency and local info/recommendations would be useful. Recommended.
Its first floor, terrace is overlooked, and sheltered from all but birds overhead.

  • Nadia was a great host and responded to all correspondence very quickly. Nadia arranged for someone to meet us outside the apartment when we arrived and provided information on all facilities within the apartment. It was spotlessly clean and furnished beautifully exactly like in the pictures. The location was amazing right beside the Campo dei Fiori which is great both during the day and night. I would recommend travelling over to the Trastevere during a stay in Rome and this is only a lovely 10 minute walk away along a bridge over the Tiber. We had a great stay in Nadia's apartment and would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the centre of Rome in a relaxing stylish environment.

    Response from Nadia:

Dear Rebekah, thanks for your nice comment on Airbnb. I am really sorry that I was not able to prepare the sofa bed for your Mum. Actually it is really confortable when transformed into a bed and it becomes more than 2metres long. Next time you will come in Rome you will get a night free.....and you will see how the sofa bed is prepared for the third adult guest.
    hope to see you soon
    Yours sincerely
    Nadia

  • Nadia was a great and caring host and made sure everything was OK. Her apartment was charming, cozy, and quiet. Well located in iconic Campo de'Fiori district, within walking distance to the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Jewish Quarter,
and many other tourist places. We really enjoyed our time and would certainly stay here again should we return in the future!

  • Great apartment, exactly as described. Very central, but still quiet, in a luxury old building. Nadia is a nice and helpful host. We strongly recommend!

  • The perfect location and place for a stay in Rome. We literally walked everywhere! Nadia's place was perfect to relax and catch a breather between sites and delicious meals. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to enjoy themselves in Rome. Our top AirBnB experience. Comfortable bed, gorgeously clean towels, comfortable space, equipped kitchen, great wifi. The perfect price for the quality/location of the apartment.

We left a list of restaurants we tried in the neighbourhood that you can find in a notebook in the apartment.

  • Nadia's apartment is a real treat: it is located 3 minutes from Campo de Fiori, a few minutes walk from Trastevere and one can easily walk to most attractions in the historic center. The apartment is spotless clean, equipped with anything one can need, it is tastefully decorated and very cosy. The kitchen is tiny, but well equipped. Though in an old building, the apartment is completely renovated and modern. It has two balconies one of which is very big enabling one to have meals outside, encircled by pots with flowers while listening to churches' bells.
Nadia was extremely helpful and generous during all our stay: she waited for us in the apartment and gave extensive explanations about the apartment and attractions in the area, she helped us with transportation information when we contacted her during our stay and saved us from a potential logistical catastrophe when we forgot a bag in the apartment just when we were supposed to leave for the flight back. In no time she arrived at the apartment, though it is obvious how inconvenient this might have been for her at the time this incident happened, and helped us rescue our bag. All our contacts with her have been very friendly, efficient and communicative. So, in short, our stay in Nadia's apartment has been a most pleasant experience and we heartly recommend it.

Lejligheden havde alt, hvad man behøvede.
