The flat is located in an old Austro-Hungarian building from the end of 19th century and the facade is old and reveals its age as it hasn't been renovated, but the inside of the building has recently been decorated. There is an interesting contrast - everything is old on the outside, including the shutters, whereas the interior with its ceilings almost 4 metres high has been designed in a very modern way. As you can see in the photos, the flat is quite out of ordinary, there aren't conventional wardrobes, for example, but there is more than enough space for your clothes and other belongings. Also, there are no curtains, so you should keep the shutters closed if you don't want the sunshine to wake you up early in the morning:):) The shutters are still the original ones, they are more than 120 years old and do not always open and shut smoothly. There are a few similar buildings like this in the area around the Mornarički park, and they were all built especially to house highly-ranked Austro-Hungarian officers. They were very "posh" at that time and were referred to as "palaces".
The flat is in an excellent location: it is only 500m away from the historic centre of Pula, 50m from the sea and 1000m from the beaches. There are buses to different beaches just around the corner (from 10m do 100m).
Near the flat there are a supermarket, a pharmacy and a restaurant. At seven minutes walking distance from the flat there are also a green market, a bank, a post office and several bars and restaurants.
