The Space

Enjoy every comfort as our guests in leafy and lively Mt. Vernon-Baltimore's premiere cultural district. A treasured neighborhood rental is, by far, the best way to get to know Baltimore! You'll have the whole house to yourself, but we are always just a phone call away. Sleeps 4 very comfortably.

Our 3-level loft-style home offers you every comfort: Free wi-fi, 2 flat screen TVs w/premium cable, super comfy beds, planted terrace furnished for outdoor dining, fully equipped kitchen, washer & dryer, central a/c and off-street parking (fee).

There is no shortage of nearby attractions in our neighborhood: Restaurants, live music, movies, theatre, Camden Yard ballpark, the Walter's Art Museum & Peabody Conservatory, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, & MICA.

We are a few blocks from the professional campuses of U Maryland, and minutes from MICA, U Baltimore and Johns Hopkins. You can walk or take Light Rail to Ravens Stadium or the Convention Center complex. Catch the free Downtown Circulator Buses to Federal Hill, or to the Harbor's many attractions. The Mt. Vernon neighborhood is eminently walkable but close to Penn Station and Light Rail for convenient public transit. We've also got a bicycle in the basement should you prefer to get around on two-wheels.

The Treasure on Tyson is a wonderful retreat for 4 or more friends. It is also perfect for singles or couples, and families. (Not ideal for very small children.) Treat yourself to the Treasure on Tyson!

  • Robin was great! The house was very nice and well-stocked with necessities. The extra room was nice to have...much better than staying in a hotel room with 4 people! My son slept on the sofa bed and my daughter slept on an air bed. The street was generally quiet except for a loud neighbor who seemed to yell instead of talk and loud people walking home from the bars at 2 am on the weekend.

There's a parking lot for you to use if you have a car...you just need to get the permit from Robin. That was very nice! The house is in walking distance to a few restaurants and a little grocery store. We also walked down to the Walter's Art museum and the purple route circulator stop from there. Overall, we really enjoyed the house!

  • Eva was very helpful, and the place was fantastic.

Incredibly comfortable bed... I slept very very well there. I'll be back!

  • Lovely row house on a great quiet street in the Mt. Vernon neighborhood! Great communication, easy connection. We had 2 cars; one was conveniently parked in the associated off-street parking spot, but parking was a little tricky for the other car (but we managed).

  • This apartment was perfect for my stay in Baltimore. Located right by public transportation, it provided easy access to the inner harbor. This apartment also has great restaurants right near by. Eva is a tremendous host and was very accommodating to my check in time. I highly recommended this place to anyone looking for a great place near downtown Baltimore.

  • I was in Baltimore for a few days of work in downtown and looking for a nice place in Mount-Vernon which I heard so much about. Eva's place was really amazing and exactly what I needed. The house is huge, three levels, very well equipped and the location is just great. by walking for a few blocks i was on Cathedral St or Charles St, the heart of Mount-Vernon! This neighborhood is really cute, i loved walking through it! There are plenty of bars and restaurants around and with a nice 20min walk I could get to downtown and the harbor area. The place is also very well connected by public transportation, either by the light-train that goes on the west side of downtown or (recommended) by the buses going back and forth on Cathedral/Charles. Overall a very nice experience, totally recommended!

  • My wife, two teenage sons, and I stayed two nights on Tyson. Everything was great. Parking is always an issue in big cities so the private off-street parking lot was very nice, plus it is located right across the street. The light rail train is just a short walk too. Eva was very helpful and flexible. We locked ourselves out one night and she showed up with a spare key and a smile in just a few minutes. Would stay there again.

  • My husband, two-year-old daughter and I spent Father's day weekend in Baltimore and were lucky enough to end up at this lovely house. Tucked away on a beautiful street with colorful row houses, the inner harbor is walking distance but there's also easy public transportation nearby. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, etc. in the neighborhood. But we ended up buying ingredients at a lovely little gourmet grocery called Milk and Honey and eating most of our meals on the deck of this house. Eva made everything very easy. We texted from the road and met her at the house. A great find! I'd definitely stay here again.
