I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting Airbnb guests! And I like to connect you with the features of Ann Arbor that will help make your visit comfortable, convenient, and interesting!
Your private space is second floor of my 1.5-story house, designed as master bedroom, which I use as guest room. Queen futon bed, plus dresser, table and chairs. Large closet. Door at the base of stairs to the second floor provides privacy.
Shared space, with me (owner of house), is all common living area on first floor. One bath. Kitchen and den look out on deck and yard that is private by virtue of landscaping. Space in frig reserved for you. Full access to kitchen.
Wireless internet (Airport Express router).
Located on Ann Arbor's north side. Near U-M hospital and both U-M campuses (Central and North). Also a short walk to Argo Pond and other lovely public nature areas.
Parking on street is plentiful.
Bus line is six doors away.
Easy biking distances all over town.
Wide variety of eateries begin within a mile. Convenient for both take-out and eat-in. Many deliver. Also a nearby supermarket and Asian grocers.
I'm happy to include children as guests, and the loveseat in room folds out into a small, simple bed. Fees for children case-by-case.
There's also plenty of space for an air mattress if you'd like to have a party of more than two for a short stay.
I had a great stay with Karen. She is a welcoming host and a really interesting and engaging person. The room is very big, but also cozy. I would stay with Karen again!
I stayed w/ Karen for four weeks. Her place is nice and she's a great host!
This was our (my boyfriend and I's) first airbnb experience, and it was definitely positive. We stayed with Karen for two weeks while waiting for our new apartment to become available, and Karen was very friendly and helpful with giving us tips on things to do around town.
Karen was friendly and very helpful. I stayed for less than a week while visiting the U of M. The room was clean and comfortable. In evenings we had very intersting chat. She even made coffee with bagels for me on Sunday morning and provided me great and informative tips on how to get to Ann arbor and where to eat in town. I would definitely recommend Karen.
it was great staying at karen's place, highly recommended! karen is such a hospitable, friendly, and helpful person!
to my friend(he was the one who stayed) it was fun to see American house. :D upstairs was so cute and so many doors! he freaked out when he saw himself in a mirror when he went down for restroom midnight. :D that made me not to go to restroom.
to me, I was so glad my friend can stayed Karen's place. place was clean and everything you need for one night was there. Karen was so nice and extra nice to my friend since his English wasn't good. :) he liked it, so I am so going to stay Karen's place next time too. :D ah btw, we just start dating now! so he will be staying more and more at your cute place!
sorry I couldn't e-mail you after :( working working working,
thank you Karen :D~
Staying with Karen was the best decision I could have made for my situation. I stayed for a little over a week while finishing up a summer internship and she was accommodating to my busy schedule and a wonderfully welcoming host overall. I would recommend staying at Karen's peaceful and well-situated abode to anyone who needs a place to call home for a few days in A2. :)
Karen was friendly and hospitable and the room was clean and comfortable; in brief, it was a great experience.
Karen was very helpful and friendly. The room was very nice and well maintained, too. I would recommend staying here to anyone visiting Ann Arbor.
Karen is an extremely thoughtful and generous host who went way beyond the call of duty for my daughter and I. We greatly appreciated her travel tips and friendliness. We had a very fun time with her and the evening we shared felt very simpatico! The attic suite (sharing downstairs bathroom) was spacious, comfortable and private. Thank you Karen!
