I am an empty nester that bought an historic home in the heart of The Neighborhood of the Arts, on the edge of Park Ave, a short walk from The East End. I love taking care of my home built in 1851. In the spirit of Urban Farming, I tend vegetable and perennial gardens and raise 6 hens. (no roosters!) I love exploring the area on foot. I am easy walking to four major museums. Nearby there is a vintage film house and an Independent film house with 5 screens-a cafe-and live music. The Eastman Theater and School of Music, and Lyric Opera are easy walks. I live on the edge of the Jazz Festival. There are dozens of restaurants and cafes, wine bars, brewery's, and art galleries. I love exploring them all! My favorite thing to do is head out in the evenings for live music or an independent film or both! I love yoga, camping, hiking, bicycling, and skiing.
