You will love my place because it's in a safe neighborhood where expatriates can walk around freely, the kitchen is full of appliances, and the room itself is clean, modern, and full of natural light.

There are many excellent restaurants in the area (for both local Afghan food and Western-style fast food), and several that have top-level security.

We also have an excellent wi-fi connection, and we keep the internet up and running 24/7 with our balcony solar system.

The space
The room itself is quite spacious, with an executive desk and office chair for those who have serious work to get done during their stay. The room also has its own en suite bathroom, along with a separate entry/exit door to the apartment for those guests who prefer additional privacy and freedom of movement. A printer is available for use by guests, with no additional fees for reasonable use (i.e. 10 pages or less per day).

Where you’ll be

Kabul, Afghanistan

Our apartment is located in a very safe area of Kabul that is welcoming to foreign residents and visitors. I would know, since I have lived in this neighborhood for over 6 years without any incidents. Of course there is still risk staying anywhere in Afghanistan, but choosing accommodation in the right neighborhood helps mitigate that risk.

Hello, my name is David Fox and I own and operate a small marketing support services agency in Kabul. I have been lucky enough to film and photograph for clients in nine provinces, and I can tell you that this place is fantastic for visual media producers. In other countries historic sites like those in Afghanistan would be overrun by tourists and touts, but here they retain their gravitas. I live a normal life here, I walk to and from my office, and I get around town on my motorcycle. My wife and Airbnb co-host is Afghan, so obviously she has a wealth of information for travelers and assists in making arrangements for our visitors. Looking forward to having you as our guest!
