  • Har bodd en mnd. hos, Anita. Fint rom, og en snill og omgjengelig husvert. Anbefales. Fine turområder i nærområdet. 25 minutter med buss til Trondheim sentrum.

  • Sadly i was not able to travel to Trondheim due to a flightcancellation caused by stormy weathers in Northern Europe. Therefore i still have to move my trip to a later date in 2014. The very kind communications, even a phonecall from Anita asking me if all was alright impressed me by its hospitality. One thing is sure, i will visit Trondheim and will book this same location as i want to meet this hospitality in person! Marc

  • If anybody is planning to go to Trondheim and looking for a cosy, warm place to stay, I would gladly advice to look for Anita's house!!! She is an awesome host, and she will make you feel like home that's for sure. Also when you arrive back from a long day visit in the city you will be welcomed with a delicious fish soup :D
Finally if you are eager to go hiking she is also a great partner on this! Enjoy!

  • Great experience. The room was just as advertised. I even had my own fridge! And Anita was an experienced host.

I probably could have gotten a bit closer to nature (i.e. farther away from the highway) if I'd come by car, but that's to be expected in the city and doesn't reflect on the room.

  • Although we arrived at Trondheim station about 11pm we were able to cycle up to Anita's place using our GPS. She actually went out in her car trying to find us. The house is beautiful in a leafy outer suburb with a large garage and garden. She had also left fruit and drinks in the fridge for us. She speaks perfect English and is super helpful and friendly with a great sense of humour. She was able to identify with us since she had also done a cycle tour of Lofoten with tent.
She works during the week so you will have the place to yourself. Trondheim town is down the hill about 10km and is a great shopping town. Not as expensive as other places in Norway.
We caught the bus but there is also a train. The local shopping centre is about 15 min walk and has multiple supermarkets and other services.
We really enjoyed staying with Anita. She is a one of the best.

  • Anita's place was very nice. You have everything you need and the lower floor of the house to yourselves. We were on a long car trip and appreciated the ability to park the car off the street. Anita was a very good host, very helpful with our questions!
