We are only 3 minutes walk from the sea and 15-20 minutes walk from Malahide village. Malahide has a large number of great restaurants to suit all tastes and has a number of great traditional Irish pubs also.
You can reach us by taking the 102 Bus from Dublin Airport (website hidden)
Malahide Village is a 15-20 minute walk away (along the beach) and is serviced by regular trains and buses to the city center. A return train ticket to city centre costs around €5 and the journey time is approximately 20 minutes.
I had a great stay at Ruth and Killian's, lovely room, tasty breakfast and great hospitality. I will be back! It's only a five minute walk to the sea and the coastal path towards Malahide or Portmarnock Beach is lovely. The bus stop where I could catch the bus into Dublin wasn't far away either, so it's a good place to stay if you want to be close enough to the city but still far enough away from it :-) And Malahide is certainly a town well worth exploring as well. When I arrived, Ruth picked me up at the DART station, which was great. Highly recommended!
Ruth and Killian are perfect hosts. Both very helpful and communicative. I have spent a wonderful week at their place. Felt like being home. Will not hesitate to stay with them next time when in Ireland.
I had the best time in Malahide with Ruth and Killian. They were both so welcoming and kind, and very generous. The room is wonderful, spacious and clean. I spent most of my time exploring beautiful Malahide and it's surrounding areas. The house is located in a very safe and quiet area, and Malahide village is a lovely 20 minute walk along the coast. Dublin is only a short train ride away. I highly recommend Ruth and Killian to anyone wanting a genuine experience of Irish hospitality and generosity. Thank you so much for making my first week in Ireland absolutely wonderful!
Ruth and her partner have been a very nice host to us.
The key handover was uncomplicated, Ruth explained us every necessary detail immediately and the time with them was really nice.
The house and our room have been nice and as promised.
I can only recommend to stay with Ruth if you ever happen to go to Dublin/Malahide.
My very first experience with airbnb. Ruth and Killian are outstanding. The hospitality shown to me was off the chart. I look forward to my next trip and to continue the conversations and stories. The location is excellent, room and ameneties very comfy.
Ruth was a wonderful host! She met me at the train station and offered me tea and biscuits when I arrived. The room is very comfortable and about a 15-20 minute walk to downtown Malahide. A taxi costs ~5 EUR. I was attending a conference at the Grand Hotel, and Ruth's place was a much more affordable and equally comfortable option for my visit. I would definitely stay here again.
A fantastic time in beautiful Robswall, Malahide.
Ideally suited for the coast, trips into town and nearby Howth.
Made to feel very welcome by wonderful hosts.
I can recommend it and I will be certainly visiting again.
Very handy for the airport too, just a 102 bus ride away :)
