Ruth and Killian were great hosts. The flat was clean and cosy and I felt completely at home. The location is great if you enjoy walking on the seashore, and Malahide town a great spot to scape from busy Dublin. The castle is few kms from the flat and a must see!
It was great to stay with Ruth and Killian. Everything was well organized as they were working late. Her parents picked my friend and myself up at the bus stop and we had an amazing welcome with lots of talking. Everything was very uncomplicated and we felt home right away. We had all we needed in a really cosy clean bedroom. Too bad we met each other only for a short time. It was very easy to talk and we got all help needed. Thanks Ruth and Killian, i'll choose your place first when i come back
My stay was incredible. They made me feel at home. Their home is lovely and easily accessible through public transit. It's really easy to get to Dublin. There's a lot to take-in in Malahide and it's perfect for runners. It is such a safe area. I had a relaxing and wonderful time.
Ruth and Killian were very welcome from the very beginning with me, as it was not a simple Holidays, but something more (2 weeks living together, while I was moving to Ireland for work), their help was highly appreciated for me.
Due to my job I was living for two years in hotels, so I decided to try this new experience and thanks to Ruth and Killian, I've to say that it was incredible possible, I can say that I found two great humans in a small village in Ireland and I know that we will keep a nice friendship.
Since the first day, they took me to have dinner with all their friends, we had very nice time in an Indian restaurant!!
They introduce me Ireland as I never knew before, talking about typical sports as Hurling... Or like the day Killian cooked for me a real Irish breakfast (it was delicious!!), what can be better than live with a nice Irish family to know really the country.
I don't want to forget about the nice area, Malahide is a very nice and exclusive area in Dublin, just 5 minutes from the house you are walking over the sand on the beach (I was going for running and it was unbelievable!).
Well I could be hours talking nice things about my friends Ruth and Killian... But the best is that you discover it yourself ;)
I had a great stay at Ruth and Killian's, lovely room, tasty breakfast and great hospitality. I will be back! It's only a five minute walk to the sea and the coastal path towards Malahide or Portmarnock Beach is lovely. The bus stop where I could catch the bus into Dublin wasn't far away either, so it's a good place to stay if you want to be close enough to the city but still far enough away from it :-) And Malahide is certainly a town well worth exploring as well. When I arrived, Ruth picked me up at the DART station, which was great. Highly recommended!
