Un apartamento muy bien ubicado y una anfitriona muy simpatica. Si buscara un buen restaurante para comer paella, calçots o simplemente bocadillas, me aconsejaría un buen lugar. Me la pasé muy muy bien.
Temis was great in accommodating my last minute inquiry to stay at her apt. (a reservation I had made with another host was cancelled), so this was not the place I had really wanted to be in. However, being on holidays in Barcelona isn't so bad, so my sour face about the cancellation subsided, and in the end, Temis' apt. was perfectly located on a small narrow street right in the middle of the action, quiet (no noisy neighbours), very clean, comfortable bed, hot water. Yes, the flight of narrow steep stairs up to the apt. and the teeny weeny shower were kind of initial downsides, but it is a nice staircase and well, you just deal with the shower. other things that add to a quite a pleasant stay is the terrace (one flight of stairs up outside the apt.) that has amazing views of barcelona and the sea (and had it all to myself anytime I went for a smoke) and the space itself, which is like being partly in a cabin, or really nice garret, which makes it charming and kind of romantic. it is uncluttered but not cold or impersonal. there is also a small juliet balcony off the living room, which is a nice place to stand and look down and around. Temis was kind enough to leave some breakfast items and coffee as a welcome and came in handy the next morning. All in all, I think the apt. is a good, clean, comfortable and convenient base while in Bareclona. Nothing fancy or luxurious, but checks all the boxes for the really important stuff.
Very good location and good welcome by our host who was extremely helpful.
There are a lot of stairs but the view from the top is worth the climb.
The wifi worked fine as well as everything else.
I probably did not read the information carefully and was surprized that the outdoor part was not attached to the appartment but was instead one floor up. However this was not any inconvenience for us.
When we first arrived, someone was waiting for us at the apartment to show us round, even though it was late at night. There was already some wine in the fridge too! The apartment is right at the top of the building so it's the closest in the building to the roof terrace, which is a great place to go in the evening. The apartment was just as pictured - small and cosy but with everything we needed, including wifi. The apartment is in a brilliant area, which has loads of great bars, shops and restaurants very nearby. This is the perfect base for a first visit to Barcelona.
I truly enjoyed my experience staying in this apartment. The location is very ideal, with the passeig del born just steps away, and many other great sights within walking distance. The reviews and description I read prior to staying accurately portrayed what I encountered. I really felt like part of the neighborhood while a guest here and appreciated a friendly welcome upon arrival!
We had a great time in the apartment! We had a nice welcome and the location was perfect. We really enjoyed the rooftop terrace. Would definitely recommend this apartment to anybody who would like to stay in the central and nice area of Barcelona.
Thank you guys for the bottle of cava ;) Nice surprise.
Everything worked perfectly regarding check in/out.
The apartment delivers exactly what we expected.
Small, cosy, well located and a perfect Born terrace.
