House Rules

Sorry no Cooking is allowed. However, If you bring in food/snack you are welcome to eat in our kitchen and you can reheat/heatup food in our microwave and store food in our fridge.
6.00 - 9.00 p.m. is booking in time, however we understand when you are travelling, you might be later, just let us know that you will be later and if you can give us an idea of the time of arrival it would be great.
As we are based in the rural countryside if it is dark, it is probably harder to find us. The two local restaurants in Camp take last orders around 8.00 p.m. just in case you need to eat on arrival. The food is delicious and very good value.
I will be happy to drive down to meet you at the village of Camp if you get lost, telephone me, or email !
We are pleased to provide you with excellent free Wifi and our password is Sheepfarm.
Just one rule - Please note no illegal downloading.

As we are a country farmhouse, the place is maybe not as perfect as some of the modern B/B accommodation and hotels, you could find a pair of wellington boot in the hallway or a sheep peeping in through the window ! We do our best to provide every comfort for you and we hope you are happy with us too !
So we hope you enjoy your stay, our aim is to make it as comfortable and enjoyable as possible !
IF YOU HAVE ANY FURTHER REQUIREMENTS, PLEASE LET US KNOW, WE' DO OUR BEST TO PLEASE !
Again we welcome you if you choose our accommodation !

If you want to meet a sheep up close and personal this is the stop for you. Millie the sheep was a sweetheart !!! We enjoyed talking with Bridget (the human) she introduced us to her flock. The house is fairly secluded so if you want some quiet time this would be the place.

Brigit was a great host! Definitely my favorite stay in Ireland. She gave us pudding, pies and some tea when we arrived. We came really late at night and she was so laid back that she didn't mind at all. We had our welcoming treats by the warm fireplace. Brigit also introduced us to her sheep. Breakfast was lovely and we learned a lot about her wonderful family.

What fun to stay on a farm and visit with the sheep! Brigid cut some branches so we could feed then. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast delicious. Best of all was hearing 'slice of life' stories about her time on the farm and the change's she has seen in Ireland. I would highly recommend this for anyone wanting to interact with an Irish local.

The sheep farm is lovely and was a highlight of our trip to Ireland. It is in a remote place so bring what you need. There are some pubs in town at Camp and then the drive past that is somewhere around 15-20 minutes through narrow country roads. The host is lovely and the experience of the sheep was so fun along with hearing the folklore tales of the area. Highly recommend this place.

Brigid welcomed us with tea and warm apple pie and a turf fire in the chimney. Nice place, very quiet with a visit to the sheeps in the field nearby. Very easy to find thanks to Brigid's description. We loved our two night stay and yummy breakfasts !

Brigid is a fantastic host. She greeted us at the door with tea, and made us feel at home. The bed was comfortable and the shower was exactly what we needed after a long day of driving. I would recommend trying the full breakfast - everything was so good! We walked up the hill in the back of the house a few different times to see the amazing views of the water and the valley, and Brigid introduced us to Millie the sheep. We did a day trip from here to the Ring of Kerry. 100% recommendation!

We live on a hill sheepfarm in a lovely peaceful valley in the Dingle peninsula on the Wild Atlantic Way overlooking Tralee and Brandon Bay close to miles of sandy safe beaches. Our family have lived and worked this land for generation. We have mountains, Caherconree and Brandon to climb,The Dingle Way Walking trail and Glanteenassig Forest Park closeby and a short drive across the Famous Conor Pass takes you into Dingle town and Slea Head drive and Gaeltacht Corca Dhuibhne and come back by Annascaul, home to Tom Crean Antarctic explorer. Killarney is 40 minutes drive and Tralee 20 minutes from our home. Camp, our local friendly village has quaint country pubs, supermarket/café and great restaurants where you can meet the locals ! And we have friendly pet sheep to meet and hens, who lay eggs for your breakfast !
And we have stories to tell and we love meeting new people !
