Just a little more information about Archaeological Sites in the area.
The Dingle peninsula is rich in Archaeological site locations.
There are 35 known sites registered with the Archaeological Survey of Ireland in the valley of Gleann Na nGealt alone.
Historic Tobar na nGealt is located here in the valley.
We have a number of Archaeological sites on the Farm these include 2 Ringforts, a Souterrain and a Gallaun or standing stone.
These sites were protected by the respect and esteem our ancestors held for the past and superstitious belief associated with bad luck resulting from interference with the properties of the Fairies or Little people as they were sometimes called.

I had the most wonderful time at Brigid's farm, it was everything I hoped for. Brigid was beyond accommodating in helping me to make the most of my time there, thanks to her suggestions and generosity in helping me get around I felt like I made the most out of every day and was able to really get to know the land and the locals. The Irish breakfast was delicious and the perfect fuel for a day of walking down to the beach or all the way around and up to the village, and Brigid made me feel welcomed and at home. The sheep are also delightful, walking up into the hills with them around was a real highlight, and Brigid took some great pictures when she let me feed the sheep. There's a lot of variety even just in walking distance, between the hills with the sheep, and sandy beach, and the village of Camp. I couldn't recommend it more, and hope I will be able to come back again myself some day.
Ireland is the most amazing place we have ever visited, and (email hidden) nGealt, Sheep Farm made it ever more amazing. Brigid is super friendly and gave us so much good advice on where to go the next day. She even told us about an amazing drive to Dingle which was awe inspiring. She made us a lovely breakfast and meeting the sheep was a lot of fun as well! I would really suggest staying with her if you would like to get to know more about Ireland, and learn about great places and things to visit. The farm is exactly how I pictured it in my head, it was an amazing experience and I would suggest it to everyone! The room was very comfortable and cozy.
Brigid was such a lovely host! She even took me out to a local pub for some traditional music the night I arrived. She provided me with a heater to keep my room warm and took me to visit the sheep in the morning. I highly recommend staying with her!

The place is very beautiful. Right in this little valley that's just so amazing. I wish I stayed for more than one night. She really helped me understand the Irish culture. Her breakfast was also very good. I would recommend it to anyone. I left in the morning but I did see some sheep! =)!
Brigid is a warm and friendly hostess. She explained about sheep farming and took us into the field to greet the sheep. She also gave us lovely tea and apple crisp, it was very nice. Her directions were excellent, as it is not an easy place to find.
We chose to have an Irish breakfast which was very good. The bed is comfortable and the place is quiet.
I really enjoyed your visit, I am so sorry that I did not explain properly that I have wifi, the password is sheepfarm. It was on the list of "things you need to know" in the bedroom and mentioned on the airbnb site too. so I thought you knew about it. Again my sincere apologies that I did not mention it to you, its always so important to have wifi available to you on your holiday in order to plan ahead. I am again so glad to have met you both and your maple syrup is delicious, best wishes, Brigid
