About This Listing
Quiet Studio apartment 4 blocks from the beach, nestled on historic montana avenue, and a 10 minute walk from the Santa Monica Promenade (one of the biggest tourist areas in L.A.)
Located in Santa Monica. My studio is in a beautiful QUIET apartment building 4 blocks from the beach. I am also adjacent to Montana Avenue, which hosts incredible dining, coffee shops, and shopping. I am also 5 blocks away from the Promenade, which hosts basically anything any living being could desire. Pack that in with a 10 minute bike ride or bus ride (Next to all major bus lines) to Venice beach and I understand why everyone I know is jealous I live in this gorgeous old white estate of a space. Full kitchen. Full bath.
I am making it incredibly affordable because I am looking for the right person or couple to inhabit my space in a respectful way which will flow with the current residents in the apartment complex. Please message me with any questions and to start a conversation.
Quiet in the building. Everyone who lives here are professionals. You will love how relaxing the space is !
The studio is in a great safe area of Santa Monica. Easy access to the beach. Studio itself is nice and quaint, well maintained and clean. The interior design is fun and offbeat.
This is my first AirBnB so was surprised there was no shampoo or place to hang clothes. The bed is old so could be a problem for those who need well made beds.
Directions were clear and correct. I did get a parking ticket but that's the nature of the area. Parking is a challenge.
All in all, a great nice pleasant place for the money.
Fun, funky little apartment in a great location in Santa Monica. Walking distance to awesome restaurants, shopping and any of the fun "city" activities that your heart could desire. The apartment is very simple and well kept. The shelves are full of great literature and Amanda's handmade jewelry and art is on display. She was very accommodating to our late check in and we loved the quiet night, tucked away after all the activity and busyness of our day.
As an Airbnb host, I expect a certain amount of bang for my buck: clean, warm feeling, bright, airy, and a great bargain. This would describe Amanda's studio. I was instantly comfortable and had no complaints. Amanda is great too and a pleasure to work with. We also found out what a small world it is indeed! Thx Amanda!
Great location. Friendly host. Frustrating to find parking and to have to re-park regurarly.
We did not meet Amanda during our stay, but her communication with me was warm and her directions were clear and accurate. She made our stay very easy and low stress.
Her apartment was in a premiere location near the beach, bike path, and great restaurants and cafe's, all within easy walking distance. The location also afforded easy access to sites on the west side of town, such as The Getty Museum, to Beverly Hills and Westwood..without having to get on the clogged LA freeways.
Amanda's apartment was clean and peaceful with views of the mountains to the north, very quiet and "zen-like" with high ceilings. It was situated in a beautiful old building with original tile and ornate beauty of days gone by. I particularly enjoyed falling asleep to the faint sound of waves crashing on the beach.
I would definitely recommend staying at Amanda's large studio near the beach.
