Francesca is a delight and Sweet Ivy is so lovely. The neighborhood is quiet but in a great location. Stay here!

Francesca is a terrific host. Friendly, helpful, and attends to any issues that may come up. The space is lovely, comfortable, and quite handy to two bus routes and a grocery store with a good deli. (Very important to me when I'm traveling.) There's a full kitchen if one prefers to cook. I enjoyed staying here very much. Quiet and peaceful, a lovely oasis in the bustle of the larger city.

I was a long term guest at this place. Sweet Ivy was beyond anything I expected. It was in a really quiet neighborhood yet only a few minutes walk or bike ride from the ever so hip Ukrainian Village/Wicker Park/Bucktown. It's within walking distance of bus stops and grocery stores as well. The train was farther away than I would have liked but that's just a personal preference. The house was amazing upon arrival. Francesca was awesome as a host as well. Any concerns we had were met with swift responses and handled professionally. I highly HIGHLY recommend this place to those staying in Chicago. Actually I hope no one stays here so the next to I'm back in town it was be open for me.

Sweet Ivy is a great place, it is as advertised. Quiet, I personally did not have issues with parking on the street. Francesca is a great host. As a result of my initial experience I re-booked with her for another extended stay. I highly recommend her as a host.

Thank you Francesca for opening up your beautiful home. Unfortunately due to my schedule I wasn't able to meet her but she made sure that I was comfortable. The location is great and there are plenty of great restaurants and bars nearby. A quick bus ride into the city. Nice quiet neighborhood to come home to after a long day and relax.

Response from Francesca:
Thanks, Dennis! You were my first "ghost guest" that I never met, but you left very positive energy, and that is the best gift of all. Come back again anytime!

Hi, I look forward to meeting you!
***Update: please note that after years of hosting amazing, incredible people, I had my first unfortunate group of guests who turned my home into a party house, disturbed the neighbors and damaged my possessions. Fortunately, airbnb mediated the claim. In retaliation, the guest posted my one and only negative review. Please be assured there are no issues with the cable and internet! ***

I'm a low key, drama free individual, and will give you your private independent space, but am there to help you with any questions to make your stay more comfortable!
