Located in Mammoth Cave, Kentucky, this cozy and well-appointed cabin offers the perfect balance of relaxation, outdoor adventure, and rustic comfort.
The cabin features two comfortable bedrooms and one full bath, with accommodations for up to seven guests. Whether you're planning a family vacation, a couples' getaway, or a friends’ trip, you’ll find everything you need for a memorable stay.
Surrounded by nature, the property includes great natural hiking opportunities that wind through the woods and lead to direct lake access, a waterfall and rock formations, providing both adventure and making it easy to enjoy kayaking, fishing, swimming, or simply soaking up the lakeside serenity. After a day on the water, take a short 6-minute drive to Wax Marina, a convenient launch point with boat rentals, fuel, and supplies to enhance your lake adventure as well as Bouy's, a local favorite bar/restaurant.

Bedroom 1 - Full sized bed
Bedroom 2 - Twin over full size bed bunks with a twin trundle underneath
Sofa - Sheets and blanket available for couch sleeping but NOT a pull out
NO DOCK ACCESS but offers several private hiking trails. Offers lake access however via natural shoreline.
Mammoth Cave is 25-45 minutes away, faster of the ferry is operational, longer if not. KY flooding damaged the ferry and it has been out of commission for a couple of months. If proximity to Mammoth Cave is important to you, please do research prior to booking. Not many other properties are closer as we are on the south side of Nolin. But with the green river bisecting the park, it’s not the fastest drive.
Guest access
Entire home can be utilized and the full property with lots of hiking along Nolin Lake shoreline at the red line or below. Great hiking!
Other things to note
We offer some lake toys that can be used directly from a natural path to the lake and several books, games, smart TV's or Roku, and a fire pit onsite. The full 16 acres can be utilized, more info can be provided! Proximity to Dog Creek Recreational area and boat launch, just 4 minutes away and Wax Marina is located just 8 minutes away. No dock access!
Also we are on well water, which is believed safe for drinking but sometimes it will have a super smell to it, especially if not in use often. If you are uneasy about drinking, we do offer a brita filtered water pitcher in the refrigerator and/ or would suggest bringing your own water.
