There are many restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets, corner stores, and shopping areas within walking distance of our place. We are located in a very sunny micro-climate area of San Francisco and experience the San Fran fog much less than most of the rest of the city. Our neighborhood is very friendly, safe and clean. We look forward to meeting you and hope you enjoy your stay in our amazing city.
Castro district is an easy 10 minute walk of only four blocks. Mission/Valencia district is also only four blocks away. Location is definitely one of the best parts of our home.
Apartment is in a great location, about a block away from Mission Dolores Park and close to great coffee and transportation as well. Studio is in the back of the building and therefore really quiet and peaceful. I especially loved the gas fireplace! Owners were great with communication.
This is a lovely place to stay for a few reasons. Firstly, it is unbelievably peaceful and quiet for the bustling SF neighborhood in which it's located. The area itself is delightful and another reason to stay. Lastly, Brandon is pleasant and has his airbnb hosting down to an efficient science which means that it's really easy to check in and out and come and go. A winner all around
We enjoyed our stay. Everything about the cottage was great, and exactly as advertised. Great neighborhood with easy access to mass transit anywhere else we wanted to go.
Very good locate. Service. Room. If revisit to SF, I must to resevation to this room. Finally. Very nice day
Brandon's cottage was perfect for our trip. It's a nice, secluded, self-contained apartment set back from the street, so it felt very quiet and private. Brandon was super responsive and accomodating, the whole process was very smooth and easy. The neighborhood is great, we had some great walks over to Valencia for a drink or dinner in the evenings, and we had a good time hiking up the hill to Corona Heights Park. I'd definitely stay here again.
This was my first AirBnB experience and it was great. The cottage was exactly as advertised. Brandon and Robert were great hosts. The place allowed our yellow lab, which was awesome. Thanks again!
I would have rated this place higher for the house and location.
The only thing is that Brandon who was away during my visit "forgot" to mention that he will be doing renovations in the backyard just outside the unit during my whole 10 days stay.
I was on a business trip so that was fine during the week as I was away most of the day, but on the weekend when I just wanted to relax and catch up on work I had to escape the house. It would have been nice if I had been told in advance. Also if I was a traveler on holiday and not on business it would have been a much worse experience.
I apologize sincerely for any inconvenience that the contractors caused during your stay. They should have had the work done before the weekend. All of the construction work has been completed now. If I had known that the work would have been going on outside your door all of that time, I certainly would have given you warning ahead of time. Again, please accept my apologies.

Hello, I am 37 years old and have lived in San Francisco for 18 years. I was the resident manager of another bed and breakfast here in SF for 3 years. I am the resident manager and also a regular volunteer for many local charities. I volunteer at many fund raisers and local conventions. I enjoy film festivals, cooking, playing with my dog Mahalo, and have traveled to many different asian countries and about 1/3 of the U.S. states. I have lived in the Castro most of my time in SF and know this neighborhood very well. I look forward to meeting you and hosting you in our awesome home.
