Interaction with Guests
I am always eager to converse with my guests. It is up to the guest how much they want to interact.
I love that my neighborhood is very quiet. There are no children nearby or dogs out in the yard barking. It is very safe and peaceful and friendly! I live very close to the interstate so it is very easy to get most places in a short time but I'm far enough away that I don't get any noise from it.
There is ample parking on the street. The ride from the airport is very easy and direct and takes about 10 minutes.
My home is a non-smoking household. Check in after 3pm and check out by 11am although alternate times can be accommodated upon request. Please no guests during stay other than confirmed guests. I look forward to welcoming you!

We really enjoyed our stay with Susan. She
was very friendly and helpful. We had the entire upstairs which was nicely decorated. The queen bed was very comfortable. She
gave us access to hooking up our computer, although we didn't bring ours. If we're in the area again we would book with
Susan again. This was our first Airbnb experience!

Susan's home was wonderful and relaxing. We enjoyed having the whole second floor to use. Breakfast was wonderful as was the conversation. Time her her sweet dog Banjo was just a bonus. Susan is very responsive to messages and easy to work with. We wouldn't hesitate to stay with her again.
Susan is many things, elegant, calm, caring, organized, neat, fun, warm, wise, tasteful, a believer. Her house is a perfect extension of her. I think it's safe to say that Susan's house tops any five-star hotel room. Leo and I rested so well there. Every bit of the house is of super high quality. We were planning to get up early and wander around the neighborhood but we ended up staying in her place taking a lot of pictures and talking to her because the house itself is too beautiful and Susan has too many good stories to tell. Susan was every kind to get up early to prepare breakfast for us according to our schedule. Susan's house is very close to Duke University. We went to the Chapel and got completely blowed away. Susan's doggy Banjo is another highlight of our stay there. He is really joyable and healing. we will totally come back and stay at Susan's no matter what.
Susan has an absolutely awesome airbnb and is a wonderful host. She was quick to decide on me staying and respond; even after short notice. She was very welcoming and a gracious, attentive host without being doting.
Her descriptions and pictures of the place are somewhat accurate. Actually, they don't do it justice. it is truly a great place for the price. A well appointed and comfortable bedroom; clean bathroom (love the floor) with some toiletries; a sitting area for relaxing with a book or something; an office if you need to knock out some work. The whole floor of something like 900sf, all to yourself! I didn't measure but it's very roomy. There's a TV in the bedroom or Susan welcomes you to join her and Banjo the dog at the big screen. The place is clean and homey.
It's tucked in western RTP area, just south of Durham downtown. Convenient location there and in a nice looking neighborhood. It looks small from the curb but Susan has it setup to share. She's a very giving and friendly host. Enjoy a variety of quick breakfasts, too. Can't wait to get back and stay when I'm there. You simply can't beat this at a hotel.
Immaculate, spacious, relaxing. Couldn't have been better.
Banjo the dog is all yap no fight. Barks only when Dusan is around, protecting her.
My son, JD, and I had the opportunity to stay in Susan's home during a camp visit to Duke University. We found Susan's home exactly as described - very spacious for our needs and spotlessly clean - but by no means stuffy and unwelcoming. The provisions during the stay were excellent and spot on for what we needed. Susan was a very gracious and enjoyable host! Her personality and friendliness made it a very pleasant stay. Her knowledge of the area and tips about dining, activities, etc. were very helpful to us for after-camp activities. All in all, the house, the provisions and Susan as a host (and Banjo!) made this an excellent stay for a hectic few days that we were at Duke. You won't go wrong with this arrangement!
