Ed and Kim were the perfect hosts! They reached out to us prior to our arrival to make sure we had directions and waited up for us despite our late arrival. Their space was pristine and had all of the amenities my mom, sister and I needed for the weekend. The organic lemon water was a nice touch! Ed and Kim's restaurant recommendations were fabulous, we went to all of them! Eating dinner at the Coast Guard House at sunset was the perfect way to spend our last night in Narragansett. I highly recommend their home for anyone seeking a quiet, relaxing getaway in Rhode Island.
The house and the hosts were very welcoming. The space that they have to rent is relaxing and very well stocked with games, activities, and comfort. Kim and Ed were there to greet me warmly the first day, and respectful of privacy as well. I could not say enough about what a great space this is to rent.
This was our second visit to Kim and Ed's place. There were four of us this time; all slept comfortably, and it was nice to have the large living room for those who wanted to stay up late or get up early, so as to not disturb the others. It's walking distance to the ocean and several restaurants. Nice to meet Ed this time around!
Kim and Ed were great hosts, very friendly and helpful! Their home was very inviting, spacious and catered to all our needs! The beds are very comfy, the bathroom is very large with a great shower, and the kitchenette was sufficient for our easy meals. Their home is in a great location to drive over to Newport and walk around Narragansett Pier. Would definitely recommended and come back to stay!
Private, clean and roomy. Exactly as advertised. Easy to find if you follow the owner's directions with an excellent Narragansett location. Comfy beds, nice little kitchenette set up, plenty of towels and most anything else you might need. Quick and helpful responses from owners. We will return.
We stayed with Kim and Ed in mid Nov. We were a party of 5 (all adults) visiting the Newport area. We had a wonderful stay. Accommodations were very comfortable (I'm typically very picky about my beds, and the beds in Kim & Ed's house were excellent). Having a pool table at our disposal was great entertainment for the two nights we had stayed there. I never met Kim, but Ed was very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend the stay to anyone visiting Narragansett or Newport.
Thank you Kim and Ed for providing such a lovely, clean and spacious hotel-alternative for us while visiting our daughter during URI's Family weekend. As a senior, our daughter lives off-campus in Narragansett - just down the road from your home, so our location was perfect for being close to her as well as a reasonable distance from campus and to Newport. Traveling with our son and his girlfriend, it was important for us to have the extra beds and living space - allowing everyone ample privacy and a very comfortable visit! We hope to be back again !
My husband Ed and I like living near the beach, enjoy gardening, good food, kayaking, sailing, walking around our great little town of Narragansett.
We enjoy our peaceful, quiet neighborhood.
We have many different floral borders in our yard and several organic vegetable gardens, which provide most of our food supply.
We enjoy visiting other states, especially our children in California and Chicago.
We hope you choose to stay with us while visiting Narragansett.
Your stay will be relaxing, comfortable and private, with as little interruption by us as possible. (unless you need us...)
We want you to feel at home and to come and go as you please. Come enjoy our Rhode Island beaches, seafood restaurants and local views.
We look forward to meeting you and sharing our quiet hide-a-way.
We are close enough to the URI campus, but far enough away to enjoy the ocean and Narragansett restaurants.
Our motto: Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.
