The space

This space is located within a complex of eclectic overnight accommodations at the Drift Inn, check in at the restaurant.

A fun tribute to Mae West and the era in which she was famous. Vintage furniture and some modern upgrades for comfort. This great little house is funky but comfortable. The old wooden floors and eclectic furnishings give it a unique homey feeling all around.

We have one Queen size Murphy bed in the living room and one queen size bed in the bedroom. Beautiful claw foot bathtub and hand tiled shower really add to the uniqueness.

Small refrigerator, gas range and a toaster in the kitchen. The range and oven are a refurbished unit in which currently the oven is not in operation. Hoping to fix it soon! PLEASE DO NOT USE THE OVEN.

We are not your typical Airbnb accommodations. Similar to an Inn but much more unique with a small community atmosphere and wonderful staff on site.

Up to two dogs on this property but please no cats.

Guest access

The entire house and front yard is your to use! Parking on the street out front.

Interaction with guests

We are both running around, running the restaurant and hotel, but our staff is always around to help when needed!

Amenities: We provide towels, toilet paper and hand soap. There is no shampoo, conditioner, or body wash in the room. So please bring your own.

Check In/Check Out: Please pick up your key from the staff at the Drift Inn Café between 3 and 9:00pm, showing them your reservation, either printed out or on your smartphone and return your key to the wait staff at the Drift Inn by 11am on the day you check out. You must know the name of your room in order to check in. Be aware there may be a bit of a wait to check in if you arrive between 6 and 8 pm.

Cleaning: In an effort to keep our costs down, please do your best to clean up after yourself. Put dishes in dishwasher with detergent and start it, wipe down countertops and stove. Patios: We have two patios for you to enjoy at your leisure. One is behind the Drift Inn Café, it has a fire pit, and picnic tables. The other is the pebble patio with chairs and café tables for your use and it is also where the kayaks are located . Please do not bring your own alcohol to the patio behind the restaurant.

Quiet Hours: We ask that after before 8am and after 9pm that there be no loud noise, music or otherwise. Many families stay here and we all want you to come back and enjoy yourselves.

Smoking: Smoking is allowed OUTSIDE ONLY. Please avoid smoking near doorways and definitely not inside the property you are renting.

We loved Mae West unit, real cabin feel, warm, restful and great space to get together with family. Found everything we needed, great beds, and amazing claw foot tub! Staff super helpful, food at Drift Inn was as good as it gets!

We had a wonderful time here! The place was a perfect fit for our little family, 2 adults, a toddler, and our dog. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The murphy bed in the living room was a nice addition and the claw foot bath tub was awesome. Loved exploring Cape Perpetua and walking along the ocean walkways. The Drift Inn Cafe had good food and it was so close we could just order take out and walk over and bring it right back to the bungalow. The Green Salmon Cafe right next door is also really good and has an extensive list of different types of hot chocolate. Yum! Wonderful stay all around.

The drift inn is THE place to stay in Yachats. The Mae West bungalow had all the comforts of home away from home. We found our room to be peaceful and quiet while still only steps away from the lively drift inn cafe. The only downside to staying here is that you are across the highway from the beach. So if beach access is what you’re looking for, I️ would recommend elsewhere. Beyond that, I️ can not recommend this place enough! Quaint yet comfortable—this is the perfect place to experience Yachats.

Another great stay at the Drift Inn! We'll be back soon. Live music at the Inn, a super bonus!

This place is exactly where you want to land after a long day of hiking and driving up the coast. Check in was seamless and while I soaked my tired bones in that fab bath tub, we ordered amazing take out from the Drift Inn ( where you check in)- the food was so amazing that even though we could have branched out for breakfast we hit it up again on the way out of town and it did not disappoint! Very nice location, kitchen has most anything that you would need, bed is very comfortable. So much else to explore in the area- this would be a great place to land and spend a few days or a perfect place to rest your head and feed your belly and soul as you are passing through!

The Bungalow was perfect for our stay! We could easily have spent more than one night. Just a few blocks from the beach, and literally upstairs from the restaurant. Get the pizza!
