Large studio, central Alamo Square

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Fillmore Street, San Francisco, CA 94117, United States

The Space

Large, quiet studio located one block from Alamo Square next to coffee shop and convenience store. Less than ten minute walk to Hayes Valley, Lower Haight, NoPa and the Fillmore District. On 21 and 22 bus lines providing easy (less than 20 min) access to Mission, Marina, GG Park, Union Square, Financial District, Embarcadero. Parking not impossible either. Cannot stress how centrally located my place is, so if you're hoping to wander around SF quite a bit then this is the place.

Apartment is a very large studio with blocked off bathroom and kitchen and walk in closet. Three windows overlook a small interior courtyard garden (not a jungle). Apartment gets decent light during the day but hopefully you're out exploring! There's a projector that turns the apartment into a mini-theater, but you must bring your own compatible computer in order to use it. Message me if you are concerned about this - most PCs and newer Macs are compatible.

  • Ashley was a great host. The check in was seamless and the place is amazing. Great location and a nice and quiet apartment that is quite sizable for sfo. Would definitely stay here again.

  • Ashley was a great host, and very helpful and communicative. The apartment itself was very clean, spacious and comfortable, and had everything that we needed.
The location of the apartment was perfect and allowed to us to see all of the city that we had planned too. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking to have a great time in San Francisco.

  • Ashley's studio is perfectly located within walking distance to public transportation and the wonderful restaurants and shops of Hayes Valley. Her studio is cozy, easy to get in and out of, and the neighbors and neighborhood are quite...Ashley is friendly and accommodating, and we would definitely stay here again.

  • We had an absolutely faultless time both in Ashley's apartment and with Ashley herself. All aspects of our stay were as easy and streamlined as possible, saving us precious time to explore this wonderful city. Firstly, Ashley's apartment is, without the slightest exaggeration, fantastic. We're happy to report that it's precisely as advertised. It's quiet, superbly comfortable, and, perhaps most importantly, in a perfect area just one block away from Alamo Square. It provided an ideal center point from which to delve into SF. Parking was a breeze (and, parenthetically, free). Innumerable coffee shops, restaurants, and bars sit a very (and, often, a very-very) short walk from her place. We highly recommend, in no particular order, Cafe International, Kate's Kitchen, Cafe du Soleil, Little Star Pizza, and Mazzat, just to name a few. We can't stress enough how delicious the almond croissants from the wonderfully punny-named Thorough Bread and Pastry are, although it's a bit of a walk for those who wake up in instant, dire need of coffee (we adamantly fall into this category, and chose to make base camp at Cafe International, then proceed to Thorough Bread once adequately caffeinated--this plan worked well).

Ashley was exceedingly quick to respond with great enthusiasm and warmth to any and all of the questions that we could come up with. Everything was so easy and effortless, though, that we had very few. Needless to say after the above, we had zero issues with any facets of our experience and are more than happy to heap the praise upon both Ashley and her apartment. We would jump at the opportunity to stay there again.

  • My friend (Kameron) and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ashley's place! As first time Airbnb'ers, there were some uncertainty with regards to how our spot would look - but Ashley was very welcoming/hospitable and helpful throughout. She prepared fresh sheets for the bed and also laid out a blow-up bed for us. Overall, I would definitely stay at Ashley's place next time I'm in SF :)

  • Ashley and her place were great. We actually had an issue with the place we originally booked so were pretty desperate to find and alternative place to stay. Within 3 hours of our initial request to stay at Ashley's we were booked and had the keys. She was very accommodating and really saved our trip.

Her apartment is clean, cozy and in a great location - easy walking distance to Hayes Valley and the Mission in particular. We would stay here again. Thanks so much Ashley!

  • Great place to stay! Was able to soak in the Lower Haight Art Walk and then see a concert at the Independent, all within easy walking distance of Ashley's spacious and clean studio.
