My place is close to parks, public transport, and nightlife. You’ll love my place because of the outdoor space, the comfy bed, the kitchen. My place is good for couples, families (with kids), big groups, workers and furry friends (pets).

Placed 5 minutes by car on the outskirts of the busy and popular Whisky Town of Aberlour, with stunning views. 3 Double sized rooms, one set up as a Twin. Available from end of July 2016. Intended for Holiday/Short Term let, would consider longer term.

The space

Very pretty countryside home feel however the house has recently been refurbished throughout leaving the house very bright, fresh and clean.

Do not let lack of reviews put you off, this house is simply new to the holiday letting scene. We are very organised, accommodating, friendly and helpful. Any queries at all please do not hesitate to ask! The house is in great condition and you won't regret choosing this home or this area :)

Guest access

This will be rented as a whole house and so guests will have the space entirely to themselves

Interaction with guests

I live very locally in the town of Aberlour, will meet guests to show them in to the house and answer any questions. I will also provide my details should you need anything else throughout your stay.

Other things to note

The house has a wood burning stove in the living room. This powers the heating to the house so isnt usually needed throughout summer however guests will be welcome to use it, there will be a stock of wood in the shed. There will be 2 storage heaters provided should you find this easier for a quick heat, though we would ask if you look to heat the whole house please just light a fire.

Great house. Perfect for 2 small families. Enjoyed the garden and local horses. Very kid friendly. Joana stocks the essentials which makes the stay even more enjoyable. Perfect hostess.

Easily one of the nicest AirBnB's I have stayed at. The fireplace is amazing and there was an ample supply of wood provided. The kitchen is huge allowing for cooking while not feeling cramped. Great location for a number of scotch whisky distilleries in the area. While there was no dryer as listed in the description, there were drying racks. If I was ever traveling in the area again, this place would be my first choice.

The host was very accommodating and graciously worked with us through travel delays. She was very helpful in providing tips for getting around town. The place was beautiful with convenient amenities. The town was very friendly and the setting was peaceful. Everything was as advertised or better. It was the perfect place for a relaxing holiday. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

A beautiful place in a very amazing part of Scotland. The house was very spacious and created and great experience while in the speyside area. Everything about the house was easily explained and loads of tips for the area. I would gladly stay here again.

Joanna's place was clean and spacious and looked even nicer than the pictures. Check in was really easy and check out was stress free. I'd definitely recommend it as a base for exploring the Speyside trail - some lovely walking immediately by the place.

I can't thank Joanna enough for her hospitality. We had to change our arrival time due to a distillery booking which was no problem for her and also our departure time which again was no issue. The house was fantastic in a great setting and an absolutely perfect base from which to explore everything that the area has to offer. The open fire in the lounge is always an added bonus for us city folk and the views of both sunset and sunrise over the hills a true joy. Although we did not need or ask for anything else I'm sure that nothing would have been too much trouble for Joanna. If you need a quiet cosy place to stay in Speyside this is absolutely your place.
