My place is close to parks, restaurants and dining, great views, and art and culture. You’ll love my place because of the cosiness, the views, the location, and the people. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets). Whatever your getaway, this is your perfect rural retreat in the heart of the Great British Countryside.

A beautiful property extremely well presented. Home from home comforts. Lovely personal touches thanks for food hamper.

We had a lovely 3 night stay at the cottage. Beautiful accommodation and location. The cottage was spacious, clean and had everything we could possibly need. There was a welcome pack that was very generous and even treats for our pooch. We would highly recommend this cottage and would certainly stay here again.

We enjoyed 3 peaceful days at Cottage no.2. The place was clean and beautifully decorated with a lovely view. Lynn was prompt in any communications and suggested this cottage as it had more space to accommodate all our guests. Check in was easy and we were wowed by the welcome pack - especially enjoying the local eggs. We picked this location as it was only a short drive to Beamish and Durham. This cottage was great value for money considering it felt very luxurious. I would definitely recommend staying here. We didn't have a dog but I imagine this would be an exceptional stay for dog owners too.

We stayed here during our visit to Durham for our Son's graduation. The cottage provided us with everything we needed and more. Including when our Son decided to stay with us for one night, Lynn brought extra bedding straight away. The cottage is immaculately clean, beautiful and good quality furnishings. It felt luxurious and really welcoming. The provision of food essentials on arrival was such a great touch. Lynn was quick to respond to every enquiry. Sadly Lynn couldn't do anything about the weather which was constant drizzle then rain, but if she could have I'm sure she would! Thankyou very much Lynn. Jane, Ed, Lola & Jamie.

Lovely cottages in a picturesque setting, we enjoyed eating on the terrace and admiring the view, even when the weather wasn't so great! The cottage itself was compact but had everything we needed, and was very clean. Lynn was a great host with very fast communication - thank you!

Loved our stay here! The cottage itself is furnished to such a high standard, and it doesnt take long before it really begins to feel like home. Cottage is also very spacious and light. We enjoyed the beautiful garden and had a fabulous nights sleep in the comfy bed! Thanks again, our trip away in the cottage was brilliant.

Modern yet homely, a lovely little cottage for a getaway. Check in and check out were pain-free, and the hamper was a nice touch.

Living in the beautiful countryside of North East England, when I'm not in my city based office, I love nothing more than a stroll around our fields with the dogs and horses, or casually nurturing the vegetable plot! We enjoy travelling to the Middle East & closer to home South W…
