Just five minutes from Ubud center with scooter, we have a great little place that is simple and sweet! The room is private and quietly located facing the rice fields. It has a great bed and a small, private bathroom. You have your own BIG kitchen with all the necessities to make yourself breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a little restaurant at the front that offers great local food. Tea and coffee are on the house. We have a great pool and parking for your scooter. Wifi is included and laundry can be picked up and dropped off!
We can assist you with anything here in Ubud, whether you need a scooter, a driver, or just some great places to hang out, do yoga and get "zen" etc. For those of you that know Ubud, we are just up from the Ark. A great place to just get away from the hustle and bustle and to relax with Ubud just down the road. A magical place!

Beautiful, clean accommodation - the pictures are exactly what you get. Nyoman and Dina were so friendly and helpful! We had a totally relaxing, peaceful stay. The house is a 10min drive from the main road in Ubud, but Nyoman will get you anything you need in terms of transport so it's not a hassle.
Has it been 3 weeks already?? It's been so good, I'm staying the year!
Both hosts know their way around town and have helped me out so much with getting set up with everything I need, and also have become long time friends I will enjoy the company of for years to come.
The villa is beautiful and it is everything I could have ever wished for!!
I had a truly excellent stay. Thank you Martin and Kirsten!
The house is tucked away and surrounded by rice paddies - a real idyll outside major Ubud hustle and bustle but still conveniently close enough to get to by bike. It has a very local vibe, with charming neighbours around every corner and some of the best Indo cuisine right on your doorstep at Warung Bintang.
The room is huge, quiet and clean and the bed is draped with mosquito nets and very comfortable. Martin and Kirsten were really generous and helpful - even when they were away on their own holiday. Definitely one of the best Airb'n'b experiences I've had.
The first thing Martin and Kirsten say to you when you arrive is 'welcome home' and that's exactly what it felt like. After months of traveling this was the perfect place to relax. You have your own little house in the middle of rice paddies, great people living around you and the best Warung (food!) at your doorstep, what else do you want? You can tell Martin and Kirsten really love Ubud, they're showing you the best places in town and are really trying to help local entrepreneurs, something we appreciated. So we are sad to leave this place but happy to have found it!
AMAZING stay with Martin and Kirsten. I was their first Airbnb customer and I couldn't have been happier!!! The place is so well kept and extremely beautiful. They live out in the beautiful rice fields, 7 minute scooter ride into the heart of Ubud (which is too crazy busy for me, I prefer to stay where it's quiet and peaceful). The movie Eat Pray Love was filmed out near their house and you can see exactly why, it is breathtaking, They are the two best hosts and made sure I really enjoyed myself. They took me to all the local spots in Ubud, hooked me up with amazing massages, food, spas, yoga, you name it! I stayed two extra weeks with them because I didn't want to leave. The best thing about living with them is not the infinity pool looking over the rice fields, nor the big princess bed I slept in, nor the sound of the river running beside my room at night (all amazing things of course...), BUT it's being immersed with the locals and becoming really familiar with the Balinese people and their traditions. That was the best part! The people in this neighbourhood are so friendly and know you by name!! Staying here was the best decision I've made coming to Bali. I made friends with two amazing hosts and with the locals. Martin and Kirsten and there place have a special place in my heart. If you come to Ubud, it would be a mistake to stay anywhere else! :)
WOW! Thanks for the sweetest review Stephanie. It's a shame to see you leave and we hope to see you again wherever that may be. Our first guests become good friends - we couldn't have asked for a better start.
Gili's next week! Whoop Whoop! (you never know)
