  • Staying at David's apartment house was an absolute pleasure. He is very well located to the city centre (only 2 stops by the train) and 30-40minutes to the West Edmonton Mall (by bus).

The apartment was very clean and tidy and full of great gadgets :) The TV was amazing! The room was big and spacious with a very comfy bed. Bathroom was also great with very good water pressure in the shower.

Thanks for letting us stay David - very much enjoyed our stay. Be sure to look us up in Golden next season if you visit Kicking Horse.

  • We stayed there for a few days. The entrance is with a phone call. David is a nice guy and the room is nice. You can cook there and have a nice 3D TV.

  • David, and his lovely home, were welcoming, friendly, and comfortable. We only spent one night of our two because of illness, and I look forward to visiting again. Thanks, David, for the comfortable bed and for helping us out with our changed plans.

  • David and his girlfriend Renata were great hosts. They were very welcoming and nice. I would suggest anyone who needs to rent a room to go to them. Good luck!

  • Lots of positives about this space – it's spotlessly clean (really, probably the cleanest rental I've seen on airbnb, no offense meant to my previous hosts), close to shopping and public transit.

It's also easy enough to access by car, and the off-street parking is a big plus. The WiFi was strong. I wasn't able to meet David in the one night I stayed there, but I do recommend his place highly.

  • Our stay at David's apartment was pleasant, he is very friendly. Lovely comfortable bed. There were 2 backpackers staying in the living room during our 1 night stay as David also offers accommodation on airbnb for his living room. I didn't realize this when I booked but the room you stay in is actually David's, he stays on an air mattress with a privacy screen in the apartment while you are there. It was a busy time for David when we stayed but we were happy with the apartment for the night.

  • We stayed at David’s for two nights. The place is easy to find, accessible to highways and downtown. Room was comfortable. Coincidentally during our stay David was rearranging the living area and had a couple of guests thus the common areas were affected. David was helpful in providing information about Edmonton.

About
Originally from the Cycladic isles of Greece I now call Edmonton my home. Living in the Bellevue community, close to city centre, is great fun as I am very close to all the major events. I also like to indulge in the cultural offerings the capital city’s downtown has to offer such as the gallery, theater, library, and cozy Jasper Ave pubs, especially with the Light Rail Transit a block away from home. I am an MSc student in Psychopharmacology at the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Alberta. The research I am involved in combines genetics and pharmacology to develop personalized treatments for patients suffering from addiction and/or mental illness. I love playing and talking about tennis so my condo is filled with references to the sport I love. I enjoy travel (especially to warm ocean-side destinations), food, music, languages and exploring the beautiful landscape that Canada offers. I have an interest in dinosaurs and the archeology of ancient civilizations. My condo is always ready for visitors. I like to keep it clean and uncluttered, such as you would expect a good hotel space. I also have this constant urge for home-improvement so some returning guests may find the condo changes slightly from visit to visit. Vincent van Gogh once said "The fishermen know that the sea is dangerous and the storm terrible, but they have never found these dangers sufficient reason for remaining ashore." I often find myself when I travel running off the beaten path and toward the "sea" of opportunity that holds the promise of some adventure.
