Interaction with guests
It depends on the day as to how much we're home and also on guest sensibilities.
Other things to note
If you prefer not to have breakfast at Kitchen Little in Mystic, just let us know at the time of booking and we'll deduct $25 from your nightly rate.
Our guests are given keys and are free to come and go as they please; we do ask everyone to be respectful of others. No smoking indoors. Guests are welcome to smoke outside and on the covered side porch. There is a guest parking area with room for three to four cars next to the barn as well as a circular driveway for unloading luggage right next to the house. We do allow one guest pet by prior arrangement and for a $25 fee (onetime fee). Please note that for the safety of your pet and the security of our home, we do not allow your pet to be left alone unless he/she is happily crated. Of course, you can come downstairs for a cup of coffee! But don't ditch the dog for 3 hours while you go sightseeing. :)
There is a living room/library for the use of our guests (with books, magazines, maps, games, puzzles) and lots of outdoor space, including a porch with chairs and tables. There is no kitchen use.
Otherwise, we assume guests will behave as responsible adults and we've never had a problem. Welcome, wilkommen, bien venue!
