This is a large 2 Bedroom apartment that is newly renovated, brand new air conditioners in each room and in a great location 2 minutes from Central. Everything you would need with high speed internet, wifi, Cable TV, DVD Player, Flat screen LCD TV, a full kitchen with microwave, stove and electric cooker, and refrigerator. There's a full bath with shower. It is on the top floor of the building and there are 2 working elevators. In the area, you will find banks, bus stops, tram stops, subway stops, supermarkets, convenient stores and laundry mats all within walking distance from the building. There are double beds in each bed room and a double pullout sofa bed in the living room. Therefore if 2 people share each of the beds, then the apartment could comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. It's within walking distance to well know night life districts so don't miss out on SOHO and LKF.
**In the past I have borrowed out adapters for FREE to guests as a courtesy and convenience, however, too many have not been returned (over 50) and I can no longer keep up with restocking. Unfortunately, I can't provide these for free but if necessary, will sell them AT COST (@HKD20) instead. Sorry that this gesture failed.

The core message is: this is a GREAT place when you are in HK for a few days. Recommended. A clean and modern apartment, with all you need to enjoy your stay. 3 tram stops away from the closest subway (MTR), 5 stops from MTR Central. A HK$25 taxi ride (US$3!) from Hong Kong station. 7-11 to reload your Octopus card just next to your door, countless banks to get cash.
BUT, you need to be aware that:
1. The area (Central) is a bit "rough around the edges", at least at first sight. My wife was a bit unhappy initially. But then she grew to like it - it is definitely safe, and you feel more like in the heart of the real thing
2. The building itself, as many pointed out, is old and in not-so-great conditions. If you're looking for a 5-Star hotel, this might be disappointing. And we were a bit unlucky with the local restaurants.
3. The apt itself might be large for HK standards, but that's about it: everywhere else it would be defined as "tiny", the bathroom in particular.
However I really liked it, especially the beds (both very comfortable). And Brendan managed the communication really well, even providing suggestions on what to do.
Great place to stay in Hong Kong. From the outside, the building looks a bit questionable but the location is great, the price is right and the apartment, though small, is plenty big enough for two people -- or four skinny ones. Maneuvering in the bathroom would not be easy for a large individual, and the beds are on the small side, although comfortable.
Much better option than staying in the local hotels, especially for the price.
really disappointed with this apartment. It's very old apartment and located in very crowed area. Even though everything is expensive in HK, I think it's too expensive for this level of quality apartment. I stayed in end of Dec. It's cold during sleeping. We had to put on every clothes before going to bed. I don't recommend this place.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Had good communication from Brendan before arriving, answering any concerns I had. Everything was as stated in the description. Room was very comfortable for our family (2 adults & 2 teenagers). Transport was very easy to catch from the apartment, we mainly used the trams & we also walked. A brisk walk to the ferry terminals would take around 20 mins. Topping up our Octopus card was very easy each day, having the 7 Eleven downstairs. Taking the bus after our stay, with all our luggage, directly to Hong Kong Station was easy, as the bus stop is just outside complex's door. Would recommend this nice apartment for your Hong Kong stay! Thanks Brendan.
Very nice, neat and clean apartment. Very centrally locatd. Ideal Place
Brendan’s apartment was clean and cozy. Bathroom was typical HK small.
2 Bedrooms were good for the 4 of us and kitchen was well set up and clean.
Bus, tram and 7 Eleven convenient store just down stairs.
15 min walk to MTR but after a few days found out it was only 3 stops on the tram and it stopped just out side the entry to the MTR station, so good if a little tried to walk.
It was as advertised, building a bit old but apartment modern, good location, high recommended, enjoyed our stay there.
I Love it! I stayed in this apartment for 7 nights. The apartment was very clean when I got there and fully furnished. Easy access, bus shelter and Tram shelter was just 1 or 2 minute away by foot. 7-11 convenient store was downstairs and open for 24 hours a day. The environment might not that modern, but I felt really safe during my stay there. Overall it's a very great place to stay, and I would love to stay there again. Thanks Brendan for being a good host :)
We had a wonderful stay in Hong Kong, part of it was Brendan's apt which is greatly centered on Hong Kong Island. All you need is provided, from towels to cooking supplies. Recommend to everyone who needs an apt for a short stay!
Brendan was incredibly nice and helpful. I can't say enough about how easy everything was. The flat was very clean and well taken care of. All the essentials worked great (AC, hot water, internet, towels, etc.).
The flat itself is small, but that's pretty standard for Hong Kong. The bathroom was also very small, but again that's to be expected.
The only complaint is that the flat is on Des Vouex Road West. It was very, very difficult to explain this street name to cab drivers. I think that speaking a French word, in an American accent, to people whose mother tongue is not English, made it difficult. Therefore, I'd advise you take a picture of the street name to show to cabs if you stay here.
All in all, this was a great place to view and visit Hong Kong. Definitely recommended.
Brendan's apartment is a cozy little place in an excellent location with easy access to public transport. Although the external building looks a bit old, the apartment is well-appointed and has everything you would need to enjoy a short stay. Location wise its almost perfect with just a short bus/tram/cab ride to Central, LKF, Soho, Hollywood Rd and other touristy places. Would definitely recommend the place if you are looking for a short stay in HK.
