  • My husband & I stayed in Richard & Jeff's place for a week & we loved it! It's quite large & has an ACTUAL queen sized bed (not two twins pushed together, which seems to be a common thing in Europe). The apartment was very well kept & had a stocked kitchen, so we could bring home groceries to save money on eating out. Richard & Jeff were very very accommodating in getting the apartment ready early so we could check-in right when we arrived (early) and then waited patiently when we were later than expected. Communication was great! Richard greeted us at the apartment with a delicious bottle of Cava & showed us around. He also provided a list of transportation tips & favorite local restaurants. They are not kidding about this location, either! You really CAN walk everywhere! The subway is a few steps away, if you need it (maybe to take the funicular up to Montjuic), but you really can walk most places from this spot in the heart of Barcelona! Incredible location. Also, Richard & Jeff are right next door, so any issues and you just need to knock on their door. Very convenient! We saw Jeff a few times during our stay as well, & he was quick to make sure we were doing well in the apartment. They have a great TV, also, with lots of English channels.

The only downside at this apartment is that the street is a bit noisy. Not a problem if you are a heavy sleeper, like my husband, but worth noting for any light sleepers out there. :) Even so, I highly recommend this place!

  • This apartment is the perfect location! We were able to get a cab or the subway within minutes at all hours of the day. The apartment itself is very cute and would be ideal for 2! We had 3 people and still slept comfortably but it got a little crowded with all our suitcases. The communication with Richard and Jeff was very easy and they were very attentive! Overall we had a great time and would recommend it.

  • Great flat and the hosts have been amazing. They even drove us through the city on the first day. I definitely recommend it. The location is very handy, nearby the Paralel.lel metro which is well connected. On that note Rbnb map is confusing as it shows the flat close from las Ramblas and Liceu tube while the flat is on the other end of Sant Pau Street nearby Paralel.lel. Don't hesitate and book this flat you will not regret it!

  • Richard and Jeff were extremely kind, leaving us a bottle of champagne to welcome our stay, offering car service to and from the airport and assuring us they were available for questions or anything we needed.
The apartment is in a wonderful location, super close to the metro and a nice walk to Las Ramblas. The apartment itself was amazing, we loved the size and pretty much everything about it! The kitchen was great to have and use. The only down side is that there is a relative amount of street noise. Other than that, it is perfect and we will definitely stay here again next time we come to Barcelona!

  • Jeff and Richard were excellent hosts. They were in touch every step of the way, offered to arrange transport from the airport and greeted our arrival at the flat. They also checked in to make sure everything was fine which I appreciated.

The flat is just as described, clean and in a central location, just steps from the Metro. There is a good amount of street noise, so be sure to close the windows securely!

Thanks for a great stay at your flat!

  • We had a very nice stay at Richard and Jeff apartment.
They were very friendly and easily contactable from the booking phase and throughout our stay.
We loved the position of the flat and it was easy to get about to explore the city!!
A Tip - If you are sensitive to noise you may wish to pack or pick up some earplugs.

  • Richard and Jeff were warm, welcoming and always on hand to give a recommendation, tips or information on the best places to check out! We had a great time with the amazing bars and restaurants nearby after each day of walking around barcelona for hours on end.

We considered getting a bike but the location of the apartment was so good with a convenient metro a stone's throw away that we found it easier to walk everywhere!

It was fuss free to get the keys and leave the apartment. The apartment was a little cold for January, with the neighbourhood (email hidden)ly catalan vibe in the early mornings.

We would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Barcelona. Thanks guys!

  • Had a great time at Richard and Jeff's place! Very central location with easy access to trains and buses. The apartment was lovely as well.

  • We were greeted by Richard and he was very helpful and welcoming. We're not sure if he greets every guest with a bottle of Cava, but it turned out to be the best Cava we had all trip! :)

The apartment was clean, petite, close to the trains, and a short (about 10 min) walk to Las Ramblas. A night-time walk through Sant Pau to Las Ramblas felt pretty sketchy for the first couple of nights; of course, the train station is right there as an alternative.

We stayed during the cold months, and despite the bedroom heater at max, the apartment got pretty cold. Don't forget your slippers and wear warm PJ's!

There was considerable street noise in the area – even at 3 or 4am. If you're a light sleeper, don't forget your ear plugs.

The area had some gems in regards to food: La Paciencia for breakfast, Quimet for cold tapas, Blai Tonight for Tapas, and Suculent for a mind-blowing dinner.

Thanks to Richard for his hospitality.

  • This is indeed a great location. It was close to the metro and MANY restaurants and bars. Richard was an extremely gracious and accommodating host and will absolutely stay here again. Thanks for everything Richard!
