Quiet, light-filled master BR w/adjoining small BR on 2nd floor of beautiful 1300 square feet 4BR-2Bath 100-year old wood-shingled 4-story w/spacious kitchen, living room & large deck with table for 6 and barbeque on 1st floor. Near F, N/R, restaurants, Prospect Park.
Our home is spacious, cozy and rustic with wide wood plank floors in the downstairs common space, bathroom #1, kitchen opening out onto the dining room and living room, Our deck off the dining room has table for 6, lounge chair and barbeque.
On the 2nd floor is bathroom #2 with spacious light-filled shower; the 2 adjoining bedrooms you will stay in and the two bedrooms of my wonderful housemates (Daniele, age 42, social impact entrepreneur from Italy and Brian, acupuncturist in training); and a study area. Please note - you will have private bedrooms in a shared home. I will be on vacation but my housemates Daniele and Brian will most likely be around. That said, our home has plenty of space and I have a lot of time to myself when I want it.
You will have access to the whole common space, including kitchen, and back deck and your two bedrooms. You will have guest access to our WIFI.
Interaction with guests
I will be on vacation when you are here. You will be staying with my housemates, Daniele and Brian, who each have a room at the front of the house. They will be social when they are not working! Depending on what time you arrive, one of my housemates or another friend in the neighborhood will show you around our home!
Other things to note
Most people who visit us - whether friends or Airbnb guests, say that our home is very cozy yet spacious, warm, inviting and comfortable. That said, it's not like a hotel. Think of it like a good friend's home that is really clean!
This place is a gem and a great find for guests who wants to sight-see New York and then retreat to a quiet home for some downtime; to stay near family in Park Slope; to come for business but want to feel at home.
If you are staying on a monthly basis then I would be open to discussing and agreeing on dinner parties and other smaller events.

I'm from northern California and went to UC Berkeley. I love the cultural opportunities in New York City, especially the outdoor concerts, theatre, and movies during the summer months.
