I really enjoyed staying here and hope to in the future! Chris and Carolyn were great. The avocados they gave me were the best I've ever had.

What a wonderful place and what wonderful people! It's a little drive to town but you're only a few minutes from the bay. Clean and beautiful Chris and Carolyn's hospitality was second to none!

What cool hosts! They made us feel like we were staying with some friends. We expected the great snorkeling and scenery, but not the guided tour of fruits, nuts and plants they took time to give us on their lovely grounds. And we had a lot of fun at the local restaurant-bar they recommended, which wasn't in the guidebook we used. We can't wait to return.

Chris & Carolyn were kind hosts, who were hospitality and even gave us some fresh lilikoi from their yard. The home was cozy and quiet. The driveway is a bit steep, so be mindful if coming in at night.

Thank you for rewiew. Sorry about pet hair, sometimes our cat lays on the freshly washed and folded sheets before we cover them.

Our stay with Chris & Carolyn was awesome. They were both super accommodating and kind. They even gave us some of their own home made Kona coffee! I would highly recommend staying with with them.

We loved our stay with Chris and Carolyn and wish we'd had longer. The location is totally surreal - everything is built into the hillside with winding roads, and their home is up a steep driveway, tucked away into the tropical forest with a view of the ocean far below, peeking through the trees. We were given freshly ground ground coffee and fruit, all grown on their property, had a lovely conversation with Chris when we arrived, and got to play with their awesome dogs which we loved. Chris built the studio himself, which is super nice with very tall ceilings. Kitchen is equipped with plenty of supplies and appliances for preparing & storing food. We would totally recommend their place, especially if you want a true getaway feel, away from city sounds and traffic, surrounded by nature up on the hillside. Wonderful hosts and beautiful studio.

Chris is a retired Air Conditioning Pipefitter and Carolyn is retired from the School District. We made the big move to the Big Island and look forward to hosting our guests from around the world. This is a new adventure for us as well and we are still exploring all the wonders the Big Island offers. We have been working hard on the grounds and accommodations and are anxious to meet new friends. Chris enjoys meeting new people, traveling, hiking, fishing, kayaking, motorcycles, surfing and boating. His hobbies are building things, gardening, exploring new places, Carolyn enjoys traveling, gardening, cooking, telling jokes, music and TV.
