  • Kelly (and her partner) made me feel totally at home in their story-book (and spotless, comfortable) home in peaceful Shelburne Falls. If you're considering a stay here, be aware: these photos don't come close to depicting how retro-elegant the accommodations actually are. The room is a spacious tribute to minimalist Americana. The bed is hard to get out of (in the best way). And they couldn't have been more open and friendly in our limited interaction (I arrived late and left early). I highly recommend this booking for the hosts, their room and the town they live in.

  • Kelly made us most welcome when we arrived and we had a very nice overnight stay. The town is delightful full of wonderful artisan shops to stroll round. The flower bridge is a real treasure and well worth a visit, as are the glacial potholes. We found a great place to eat in the evening overlooking the river and the town has a good traditional american diner for breakfast. You must not miss the ice cream with homemade chocolate fudge at the drug store with its original soda bar. Our room was airy, peaceful and the bed was very comfortable. The shared bathroom was spacious and spotless. A great place to stay!
