Sladana was a wonderful host and gave me great recommendations of sights to see and restaurants to eat at. The room was clean, modern and in a nice area of town, about 15 - 20 minutes walk to the old town and 10 - 15 minutes to the main bus station. The only thing to be aware of is that the room is very hot on particularly hot days as the fan in the room didn't do much to cool it down.
I enjoyed such a lovely, pleasant stay at Sladana's home in Zadar. Sladana is a really wonderful host, and a lovely person who picked me up from the bus station, organised a trip to Kontari Island, and also went out of her way to drive me to Krka National Park when her friend who works at Tourist Information was unable to do so. Zadar is a very beautiful and laid back City to spend time in, and there is lots to do. Sladana's home is a reasonable walk away from the old town, and it is very easy to locate. I would definitely recommend staying at Sladana's home as she is the perfect host. Thank you once more Sladana for a welcoming and friendly stay!
Sladana greeted me with a warm welcome and gave me great restaurant and day excursion tips. The room was exactly as shown on the pictures - very clean with a beautiful balcony and a shared bathroom. I would definitely recommend that you stay with Sladana during your trip to Zadar!
nicely decorated and contemporary disgned house , warm reception, recommended
Sladana was so sweet! She came to pick me up from the bus station, provided me with the city's info and offered me some Croatian whiskey. The room was great. It was clean and had so much natural light!
Wonderful, comfortable, tidy room in a newly renovated house. Quiet neighbourhood, with seaside and beautiful old-town about 20 minute walk away. Nice, breezy common area that I used to prepare coffee, read and do some work. Great value for money!
Most of all, I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Sladana. She is very well organized, reliable, calm and has a great sense of humour. She provided me with all the information about getting around town when I arrived. We had many interesting conversations regarding just about everything in life.
She really went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. In fact … when I had a fainting spell one morning and she "resuscitated" me with home made elderberry juice and local cheese :)
Highly recommend this place!
Sladana made us feel very welcome, picking us up from the airport for a small charge and giving us lots of information on the local area which was invaluable. The room was lovely and clean with a great balcony to sit on and read your book or enjoy breakfast in the morning.
