As the pavement fades to gravel and you make your way through beautiful Blue Ridge, Georgia, you will see pastures, horses, and roadside stands welcoming you to the North Georgia Mountains. Come around the bend and over the hill, where the Papa Bear Lodge sits invitingly amongst the stunning Georgia mountain scenery. This end-of-the-road, private setting with seasonal views is located in the Aska Adventure area, in the always charming Blue Ridge, Georgia. Papa Bear Lodge is a perfect mountain retreat for the entire family or that romantic getaway for two. Plenty of outdoor space, you can sit on one of several decks where you can breathe in the fresh Georgia Mountain air and feel the cool breeze wash over your entire being in the evenings.

Upon entering the cabin, you can immediately see the attention to detail that has been put into decorating this little gem of a Blue Ridge Cabin Rental. Aesthetically pleasing, there are custom furnishings throughout – a large kitchen has stainless steel appliances and a handmade table and chairs for six, and a jigsaw puzzle of smooth Georgia river rock makes up the fireplace, bringing a piece of the outside in. With a flat screen TV situated above the mantel area, you can melt into the surroundings and watch your favorite sitcoms or maybe catch up on some sports.

There is also cozy leather seating to sit in and soak up the warmth of the inviting fireplace on a brisk autumn eve. There are three bedrooms, all with unique wood bedding and furnishings; the master features a garden tub and separate shower area. Not to be missed is the A-frame deck off the loft where you can relax among the tree tops with a nice cup of hot cocoa and your favorite book, or head back inside for a friendly game of pool.

What a wonderful place to just sit back and enjoy the spectacular Georgia Mountain setting. There is an extra large hot tub to accommodate all of your guests and a double gliding chair and porch swing...all great for relaxing and listening to the tranquil sounds of the nature that surrounds you. Pack up the family and head on out to the Papa Bear Lodge, we know you will not be disappointed.

If you are looking to venture out of your cabin, just head 15-20 minutes down the road where you will find the heart of downtown Blue Ridge. There are a wonderful variety of shops and restaurants where you can find unique mountain furnishings and beautiful handmade jewelry and dine on some delicious Georgia mountain trout. There is always something going on in downtown Blue Ridge. Whether it be live music or festivals, you will be sure to enjoy yourselves on your North Georgia mountain vacation. Also, for those looking to indulge in outdoor adventures, there are plenty of hiking trails, fishing, canoeing, and rafting adventures. Discover the natural waterfalls of the Ocoee Whitewater Center, then dry off and head down to the Mercier Orchards for some apple and berry picking. There is something to please the North Georgia mountain spirit in everyone.
