Punta Puyai is a very safe and quiet area, special for families with children, with areas to bike or hike to the beach and hills.
Punta Puyai is located a couple of kilometers from the center of Papudo, which can be reached by walking on the beach or a few minutes by car.
In Papudo there are no large supermarkets, but there are small shops and mini-markets where you can find a lot of food. If a supermarket is required, the closest ones are in La Ligua and Maitencillo.
On Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, you can buy local fruit, vegetables, and fish at the fair.
The best empanadas, fish and seafood and the pisco sour with refill can be found in the restaurant La casa de Cesar in front of the Plaza de Armas.
The best local cakes and pastry is found in Enikita.
