The Cottage is within walking distance of Historic Downtown Breaux Bridge, Louisiana and the many art and cultural attractions including world famous Zydeco Dancing, antique shopping and a short 5 minute ride to Lake Martin Swamp tour where you will see alligators and more! The 870 sq ft Cottage built in 1893 is completely renovated & full of local art & culture. It's perfect for a quiet get-a-way or for entertaining around the granite island. Small front porch is the prettiest in town!

The space
The Cottage Downtown is a two bedroom, one bath retreat! Most comfortable beds in town plus and oversize couch. Large granite island is perfect for gathers of 8 or more! We provide water, juice, coffee and fresh fruit for a continental style breakfast. Many appliances but NO cooking stove. Hebert’s across the street has daily hit plate lunches value priced!! Step back in time in our Clawfoot Tub/Shower and wall sink. A partially fenced in yard adds some privacy for small gatherings. Ask me about Uber service I provide within 20 miles.

Entire House, Yard and Shed. The front porch is the prettiest in town where you can enjoy the morning view, a fresh hot cup of coffee and a cool breeze while rocking in one of two oversize rocking chairs.

We also have a second location that is just 13 miles away in St. Martinville - The Evangeline Rose on Airbnb focuses on bridal events, travelling nurses and guests! We're also available for small gatherings like Baby Showers, Tea Parties, or Girls Night Out! Our other attraction is a photographers dream space! Inquire about day rates for photo shoots!
