We had a wonderful time at Kelly's house for the weekend with our group of 8. We had planned to go out more but just ended up staying in because it was so nice! The backyard is a beautiful green oasis with a hot tub and there are huge windows everywhere. There were plenty of beds and towels and a fully stocked kitchen. We went downtown one night and it was about 15-20 minutes away. The house is in a nice green neighborhood and there is enough room to park quite a few cars in the cul de sac or elsewhere in the neighborhood. Overall it was the perfect place for our group's needs.
Kelly and her home were great! She was there to walk me through her home when I checked in and had a wonderful manual to refer to if we had any questions during our stay. She made herself available to us if we had any questions and really made us feel comfortable, making her expectations of us as guests very clear.
Her home is lovely--the perfect retreat--and was spacious, open, comfortable, with plenty of natural light, beautiful scenery, and space for our group. Her kitchen is amazing and so are all the windows! I had a wonderful stay and can't recommend it enough.
Host made us feel very welcome and was helpful from the very beginning. House was nice. Very clean, beautiful outdoor views of the Austin hills with lots of greenery. Great layout for groups with bedrooms on each floor. We unfortunately didn't get to use the hot tub because it was rainy and cold all weekend, but it was on a nice deck with a great view. Fantastic kitchen with all of the kitchen appliances, and plates/glassss we needed. Overall nice experience and would recommend Kelly and her home.
Kelly was very thoughtful, she made us feel welcome. We appreciated the xmas decorations very much. Our grandchildren really enjoyed spending time and staying overnight with us.
the xmas lights outside were very nice. We had to be careful getting in and out of the driveway because of the nature of the lot,but kelly had already told about that, so it was not a big deal. It seemed as though kelly had made all the appropriate preparations for our stay. In summary our hosts were very gracious and we have absolutely nothing to complain about. I would certainly stay there again if the need arouse.
Beautiful home nestled in trees backing up to a nature preserve. Once you enter the large, open living area you feel as if this house is the only one around. It is one of the most peaceful environments I've ever experienced. Beautiful hardwood floors and a chef's kitchen await. The floor plan affords great privacy and separation as bedrooms are on 3 levels. Kelly was very prompt and easy to deal with. She and her husband were friendly and informative upon my arrival. I would definitely stay here again.
What a great home! We absolutely loved our stay at the Retreat in the hills of Austin. Kelly made us feel right at home and was very helpful and responsive from start to finish. The layout of the house was perfect for our large group (10 people), and the kitchen was amazing. The house was just a short drive from anything that you would need. We would definitely suggest staying here if you are looking to accommodate and entertain a large group!
