We had wonderful days in kyoto. The place is about 10 minutes walk to Kinkakuji, although we didn't go there because there were too many people during the new year holiday. We like the two shrines nearby more, the Hirano and the Waratwnjin shrine. There is a super 10 minutes away by walk and we really enjoyed it since it has so many fresh and delicious food! Although the room is not so big, it is enough for us. Thank you! Looking forward to our next trip!
Listing was 100% accurate. Small room, but clean and well kept. Lots of amenities in the neighbourhood but rather far- a half an hour bus ride- away from town. Great value.
The location was not the most convenient and there was a smell emanating from the sink. However, everything else was good.
Exactly as described -- small apartment in an amazing location. Ayana was very responsive and helpful, and I had no trouble finding the place even at night.
Easy walk to some of the best temples and a short bus ride to downtown / the station. I would've stayed another night if my schedule permitted :)
I needed a place on the day itself and Ayana was very quick in responding. Since she was the first and I didn't know what a nice area would be to stay I decided to go with this. The place itself is okay, the beds are comfortable, everything works quite well and is there. However, the entrance of the building itself is a bit run down, so be prepared for that. Also the area around is not really exciting. It is close to the Golden Temple but except for that it is much better to stay near Ginkuju, Shijo of Gion. So as a hang out for one day to visit the temple it is perfect, especially if you're on a budget. Although the directions on the site are clear, it is kind of hard to find in the dark. So make sure you get to see the site and wifi password before you leave.
This B and B is great! The location is somewhat hidden but the access is great if you know your way around with bus. We rented the bicycles to get around and we had no problem.
Lots of restaurants too!
The location was great, surrounded by all kind of dining & great bargain for pharmacy goods nearby. Accessible to food almost 24x7.
The bus station is nearby & convenient to access most tourist spot. The tram to Arayashima also within waking distant.
We also had a good view of the surround at the roof top, sunset & the red tint across the mountains nearby.
Fast internet, heater & air conditioner in tip top condition.
The strong smell from the wash basin is noticeable, easily mitigated with a plastic beg filled with water to cover the hole but converting it to S trap will likely solve the problem.

Thank you for browsing my listings!
I've been to Canada, Australia, Singapore, and some other places, for studying and sightseeing, so I think my English should be good enough for ordinary conversation.
