I am offering a self-contained apartment next to my beautiful artists’ home, in a peaceful, mountain top Tuscan village. Monti di Villa is nestled at an altitude of 650 metres, above the renowned spa town Bagni di Lucca, accessible by road, bus or a leisurely walk. A typical rustic Tuscan village, it is the ideal place to relax or enjoy sports such as hiking, mountain biking, cycling or swimming. At the top of a winding road you will discover a village steeped in history, typical architecture and buildings dating from the 1500s.

The apartment’s kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, fridge-freezer, microwave and seating for 4. The first bedroom has a double bed and the second has two single beds. Wifi and central heating are included. The private balcony offers stunning, panoramic views over the rolling forested mountains, and the apartment is fully set up for a comfortable and tranquil stay.

Sara's place is the best location for a perfect getaway. The house is incredibly cozy, warm and great vibe. Kitchen is fully furnished and equipped, as well as restroom and bedroom. The apartment is located uphill, hard to be reached with our 50 cc scooter, but that added value to the whole holiday. Sara is friendly and helpful, she lives in the same building, in the next flat, but is very discreet.

What a wonderful house with an amazing view! We loved every second of our stay at Sara's house. Everything went better than expected and for my surprise Sara speaks fluent Portuguese as well, which made our stay extra special, like we were visiting family.

Grazie Sara! We had the most relaxing, therapeutic stay in a small traditional Italian town! The views were exceptional. Despite the language barrier, Sara was an amazing host! So kind and caring! Thank you! Definitely recommend if you want some peace and quiet :)

Wonderful village in the mountains. Easy access, we found the house without problems. The view from the terrace is so beautiful that you can spend all day on it. Sarah is very kind and always smiling. She grows the sweetest tomatoes in the world. We were very happy we could relax in such a wonderful place. Thank you Sarah

My friends and I had a wonderful stay in Sara's apartment. It's located in a tiny mountain village and we spent most of our time on the balcony with stunning mountain views all around (I wish I could attach photo's)! Sara was so kind and accommodating, the apartment was simple yet clean and had everything we needed. It was a little hot at night as there were no fans or A/C but the evenings cooled off and we were fine. Sara showed us her artwork in her studio and my friends bought a couple pieces of her art. The village is up a twisty curvy road in the mountains above Bagni di Lucca. So much to do in the area (if you like hiking and the outdoors), and we didn't have time to do it all. We did rely on my Italian speaking friend to communicate with Sara, but I'm sure we would have figured things out without her. We walked 4k on the road to the next village over, called Montefegatesi, which had a cafe and a small "flea market" type store, and amazing views of the mountains and a Dante monument. The walk provided beautiful views of the village. We also just chilled on the balcony and made our own food. There are no stores nearby so bring your own food. If you are looking for a quiet get-away, I highly recommend Sara's place. She is so kind and seemed to really enjoy having us there!
