Also enjoy a continental breakfast with fresh coffee, rolls, fruit and orange juice each morning. Harrah's casino, Aquarium of the Americas,, plantation tours, swamp tours, voodoo tours, and the fabulous French Quarter are 6-8 minutes away by (website hidden) downtown New Orleans. Great for Mardi Gras and any other festive occasions. Boomtown casino and a swamp tour are also near my condominium. My condo has a swimming pool, fireplace, friendly atmosphere, and gracious host. Can pick you up at airport and bring you back There is also WIFI and cable tv. Children and pets are welcome. Beautiful colored lights brighten your pathway to the door.

You can relax and enjoy this all day if you choose to enjoy the atmosphere. Also I belong to another fitness center which allows me to take one guest at a time to enjoy the hydromassage bed and massage chair for free.
My sister especially enjoyed the theatres.
" Streetcar Named Desire' was a very special and unique play actually made in New Orleans and written by
Tennessee Williams. This was a wonderful play she will always remember. Many movies are produced in New Orleans yearly and I have ran across movie shoots frequently during the warmer times of the year. My mother and I actually had the opportunity to be extras in a commercial a few years ago. This was quite a fun experience and we both enjoyed it immensely.
The horse-drawn carriages in the Quarter with the drivers giving a colorful and exciting history of the city are always a great way to begin this fabulous vacation. Everyone
coming to New Orleans should have a wonderful and unique experience. If you do need rides I may possibly be able to help you if available.
Of course guest can cook in the kitchen if they wish and have use of the refrigerator.

We felt very welcomed, the pics are accurate, and we felt very safe and comfortable in the neighborhood. She had other guests while we were there but we did not hear them at all.
The description of Linda's listing and the positive comments here matched my experience staying at her home in New Orleans. Linda went out of her way to make sure that I had a wonderful visit to the city, which, in my case, meant a mix of enjoying the wealth of things to do and also having time and space to do my work. As noted, the bus stop is quite close to the house, though Linda was very generous giving rides to and from different sites and parts of town, and she knew of many different attractions and was always interested in learning about new things to enjoy in the city. She provided rides to and from the airport, a clean and inviting room, and a generous breakfast every morning. It was very nice to get to meet her and I had a wonderful visit in large part because of her kindness and generosity and her open efforts to make sure that I had a great time.
Linda was truly a gracious hostess. She has a lovely home and went above and beyond to make my stay in New Orleans safe and comfortable. I hope to stay with Linda next time I visit New Orleans.
Linda was as a perfect a host as one can possibly expect. This was easily the best booking we have ever made through Airbnb. Linda's is a gracious and wonderful host. Her home is very comfortable and the breakfast table is laden with food. Even though her house is a little away from the sights, the gated community where she lives is quiet and peaceful and just the place to be to unwind and get ready for another busy day in NOLA. However, Linda always dropped us off in town in the mornings and was always full of suggestions of what we could do during the day. I would definitely not stay anywhere else in New Orleans.
I had a wonderful time staying at Linda's home. She was very helpful from the moment I arrived with no car offering to take me wherever I needed to go. Although I slept most of my trip the little bit of time I did spend talking to Linda was nice she is very informative about the area. She was kind enough to make us breakfast. When I make another trip to NOLA I would love to stay with Linda again. Such a sweet and helpful lady. The room was nice and clean, the bed was very comfortable, with all accommodations for showers and stuff.
Kyleen and Evan were wonderful guests and I enjoyed having them stay with me in New Orleans. They are fine representatives of our military (Kyleen is navy and Evan is with the marines) I wish them the best of luck and they will be in my prayers.
Linda's home is comfortable and she was very welcoming. The bed was extremely comfortable and the home clean. Linda also makes great breakfast. We enjoyed her insights about the town and conversation around the breakfast table. I would absolutely recommend her home to anybody looking for a comfortable place to stay in New Orleans.
Linda is very helpful and sweet and not only fix breakfasts for her guests, but goes out of her way to help. In our case she was willing to drive us as far as to Lafayette (two hour drive) when we had a problem with renting a car. Luckily we managed to get a car after all, but this is the sort of kindness no hotel can offer. There were also many other ways in which she was also very wiling to help, including giving us rides to downtown. I also enjoyed my chats with Linda about ins and outs of local politics. Thanks to that I felt a bit like a local:)
