Marie is a fantastic hostess who makes you feel immediately at home and at ease, very easy to chat with and very accommodating to suit you, and provides a few extra little touches like turning on the electric blanket for you. Marie's apartment is very homly and relaxing, very clean and very well presented, in a great location for access to the CBD, and has a great deck and view. The only negative thing I can think of is not having enough time to spend there with Marie due to work pressures. Thanks very much for letting me stay with you :-)
this is actually 2nd time i stayed at Marie's and I am happy my decision . Another good memory in Private n peace in Parnell , thx marie
This B&B was great, lovely ambiance, smart and comfortable home, felt very relaxed, and I loved the view overlooking Auckland.
Wonderful to be looked after so well and sleep very well in warm, comfy bed.
The host canceled this reservation 55 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Private n'Peaceful is basically a home away from home. Apart from your own room, Marie is generously sharing her living room and terrace with visitors and instantaneous makes you fell very welcome. Everything is kept tidy and clean. Marie is a lovely host and open and welcoming as basically all kiwis I have met.
Her terrace with the excellent view is superb for a relaxing with your feet up after a long day of work.
Finally, I loved the central placement just outside Auckland CBD very close to excellent public transport.
If I go back to Auckland another time (which I hope), I will definitely go back to Marie.
Had a wonderful one night stay with Marie! Very accommodating and kind woman. The place is beautiful and everything was extremely clean and well presented. Due to the shortness of my trip, unfortunately couldn't experience the continental breakfast but all was very well organised. She was also very understanding about our slightly late departure. Thank you for a great stay!
This was my 1st booking on AirBnB obviously it will be mix feelings to stay in local's house as overseas guests.I am not sure we are lucky ( both me and my wife felt) that we have met a great and super host in Auckland. are all AirBnB host will be Marie and all houses are as clean, nice and homy like Private n' Peaceful Parnell ? and the breakfast as bigger as Marie prepared for me? I dont think so...
Marie is indeed a Super Host who has done great to us and this few days will be in my memory and I just feel I am half kiwi:) . She offered best hospitality to us , gave us good recommendations , lots of good laughs. meeting locals, eating like locals.
