The host and people here are all helpful, enthusiastic and friendly. Nice budget for the tourist region of Göreme. Highly recommended.
Yilmaz was a great host! From the first moment on -when he picks you up from the bus terminal- he makes you feel home. He is charming and funny. We enjoyed listening to his funny and interesting stories. Thank you Yilmaz!.
Coco Cave Hostel was a great hostel! Nice and cossy hostel with reasonable price and warm people! They were very helpful and hospitable! thank you!
Yilmaz has been very friendly, the rooms are simple and nice!
We stayed two nights at Yilmaz place. In the beginning we were little confused because the shuttle dropped us off at CocoCave Hostel, which we actually didn`t want to book before our journey. Yilmaz is working together with some hostels so it is not sure where you will stay definitely. Nevertheless Yilmaz and the guy from CocoCave tried to give us good information about possible trekking routes. Also we got breakfast although it wasn`t included in our booked price.
We stayed in Goreme 5 nights and everything was good. Yilmaz was very nice and helpful with us; we went out to dinner together and we had some interesting talks! he also gave us many advice for our stay.
hope to come back soon!!!
My brother and I stayed at this hotel and Yilmaz and the others were very friendly and social. We spend only one night but it was nice.
Will go there again when I am back to Göreme :)
We loved Goreme enough to stay three days and four nights. Yilmaz and his innkeeper partner are really nice and helpful. The laid back environment and comfortable cave rooms add to the overall beauty of the Cappadocia experience.
Beware that there is considerable pressure to buy into relatively expensive driving tours and very expensive balloon rides. There is a vast network of relationships at work with the businessmen in Cappadocia, a sort of you scratch my back I'll scratch yours, that often finds the traveler in the middle. That means carpet, pottery, tours, rentals, guides, everything involves kickbacks! Truth is our driving tour was amazing so worthwhile, and all of the region is magical. Just be careful how and where you commit your money.
