My place is pretty quiet - even for New York. And finding clean comfy digs can sometimes be a challenge. The neighbourhood is no frills. You won't find many bars and restaurants - you will find juice bars. Prospect Park is reasonably close, and I walk there almost everyday. If you're looking to visit and explore NY, this could be the right mix of economy and comfort.

I have a dog, so people with allergies, please take note.

Emily's place was a very convenient place to stay. It was clan and pretty much exactly as described. Her pets were friendly, cute, and quiet. The air bed was comfortable for one, but deflated a bit with two people, making it a little hard to sleep comfortably throughout the night…

Thanks for the comments about the air bed and two people. You and your friend were the first twosome to stay over and appreciate the knowledge for future inquiries. Hope you enjoyed your stay otherwise. Thanks!

Thanks for your review. Whilst the flat is not central to manhattan based tourist attractions, the aesthetics, cleanliness, and space of the flat are otherwise quite high for the value for money. I truly strive to make my Airbnb lovely and affordable. As I'm from NY, I couldn't imagine what the rates and quality of stay must be like ooser to the tourist route. Enjoyed your presence here. Hope you enjoyed your stay!

Emily was a wonderful host. I was lucky enough to get an introduction to the city both through her hands-on advice and through some outings in the area... Be it to a farmer's market, local foodie spots, dog walking in beautiful Prospect Park! The apartment is a sanctuary from the…

My name is Emily and I'm a landscape architect. I love art, music, hiking, cooking, traveling, and adventuring with my lovely dog, Lily. She is loving, silly, and never a disturbance. As I've also been a host when I lived in Brooklyn, New York, I understand the dealings of coming…
