Welcome to the Goethert Haus, family home of Dr. BH Goethert, the father of rocket testing at Arnold Engineering and Development Center and a founding organizer for UT Space Institute. Dr. Goethert came to the US in 1947 from Germany and moved to Manchester in 1952. His family followed and built this house in 1955. The open architecture of the living/dining area and the grand wooded backyard make it a wonderful retreat or family accommodation. Best lodging for the money you can find.

Really cool place and really convenient location for our return trip. One of my favorite morning cups of coffee on back patio during fall colors!
