Ha was a wonderful host during our stay. His place is very clean and cozy. Myself and five others slept comfortably with four of us in bunk beds and two of us on a futon. It was thoughtful of him to provide breakfast, which was super delicious. The homemade breakfast in addition to his caring personality made us feel at home.

I planned to travel to Busan for a few days and I choose Mr. Ha house because it looked so nice to me. Sadly I catched a bad cold and couldn't travel there.

After my second stay at Dal guesthouse I remain convinced that it’s the coziest house ever. If you go further into the island you’ll see some shops and restaurants (take bus #8). It’s somewhat closer than Nampo-dong if you want a coffee or a meal, for example.

Dal was so wonderful. I got on the wrong bus because I forgot to cross the road and he came and eventually found me after I still managed to get off one stop too early. Once you get the hang of it though, it's easy to get in and out of Yeongdo. He's also quite close to Taejongdae Park and the Gamji Coastal Walk. His place is beautiful and I would so love to return there. I find it very zen. It's clean and I enjoy listening to the radio channel. I get confused about the best way to arrange my things in the shower without a separator between the showering space and the toilet but otherwise great water pressure and temperature. Last but not least his bread is awesome. I hope I can come back someday or that our paths will cross again!

I stayed at Dal Guesthouse on May 15-16. Finding my way from the bus terminal to the guesthouse was relatively easy, thanks to (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) map and Mr. Ha's detailed direction. Mr. Ha was very accommodating in answering all my queries regarding transportation to places I wanted to visit. His house is approximately 15 mins away by bus from the famous Taejongdae Park and Gamji coastal walk which are places not to be missed when in Busan. If you're up for a short hike like I did, you could walk up the road from the guesthouse and in about 15-20 mins you'll find a view deck where you can see the bridge and port of Busan. The view is absolutely spectacular especially at night when the bridge is illuminated. It's quite a steep hike if you're not used to walking but the scenery makes it worth while. I've stayed in 5 different guesthouses during my trip and I must say Dal Guesthouse is by far the most special. The home baked bread and pot of freshly brewed coffee in the morning is a bonus. I definitely wouldn't hesitate to stay there again should I come back to Busan and will absolutely recommend it to my friends.

The description is accurate. The house is kept clean and well-maintained, the room is equipped with ondol and is warm, beds are comfortable and large enough for a tall person. Owner is really helpful and nice to have a conversation with. Internet connection over Wi-Fi was stable so I could do some work on my laptop when I had to. Location-wise the place is in a nice area close to a mountain. There aren’t any automobile roads directly adjacent to the house, and it’s really quiet—I liked the fresh air and the calmness. At the same time the bus stop is nearby, in case you’re going somewhere like city center (you’ll probably want to since there’s not much happening around the area). It’s a shame there’s much left around the area that I haven’t explored, like the Bongnaesan mountain or Taejondae park—hopefully I can stay again and have more time. I enjoyed my stay overall.
